Balto was born in 1922, making him either 2 or 3 years old at the time of the first film depending on the month.

It's hinted that Steele may be passed his prime in Balto 1, so it's possible he could be much older. I'd guess 8 or 9.

Has anyone considered my suggestion of a timeline?

"Past his prime" isn't very old for a dog. It'd be more like 6.

You should go ahead and make one, perhaps two. One that covers anything Cannon and the other similar but fitting in your own fan-fiction as well. The latter one would just be for your own use of course.

I thought of that, but I'm not sure I have the right kind of graphics software to put it on this site. Well, I'll try it anyway if I get the chance. Would a timeline count as fanart or a fan image?

I always heard that Balto was 2 years old in winter of 1925, so the movieverse years would place Balto as 2 in the first movie, 2-3 in WQ (If the movie occured right after the first one that is...), and since WOC state that the year is 1928, Balto would be around 5 years old.

Of course, this is educated guessing here. Correct me if I'm wrong.
