maybe its because steele doesnt hate balto he just hates balto's kind but i dont i think being half wolf is soooooooo COOL :colors:

I don't think it was Jenna liking Balto that made Steele mad, because it's obvious that Balto didn't know her too well in the beginning. So I think it must have been his heritage

Simply Steele doesn't want a half-breed stepping in and taking over his pedigree status, he is also jealous and we may never know all we know is the story was written so that Balto and Steele disliked each other.

Well some of the thing are:

1 He has the will to press on.

2 He is part wolf.

3 He's not a jerk.

4 he is smarter then steel.

5 and I think there is also jealousy involved.

Don't forget that Steale is a champion and not for the first time. Have a bit of respect to him

He is a glory hound and that's all.
Balto knew Jenna well all the time because his rush at the begining was made just to show off and he knew that Jenna would notice such a thing from him )))) Steale did practically the same but Jenna did't notice because she already liked Balto at that time

You bring up an interesting point here, and now that I think about it I can see how you might see it that way, especially when Steele says “Well perhaps your taste runs more toward Wolf."

Yes, it is an interesting point Fenix, but maybe the reason Jenna didn't like Steele was because he wanted to get her attention, but Balto never tryed? Just a thought
