If the text is already merged with image, you can't really do anything about it. You probably need a copy of the same image (without text). It depends where the text was originally placed.

When adding text to image, normally the text will be set on a separate layer. Type anything you want. When your done typing, go to the layer menu (menu showing all the layers). Right click the text layer and click on rasterize layer (or simplify layer). The text should become a "image" rather than text.

well it dont work i dont get 2 layers on 1 picture

i need to know how to copy 1 picture layer to another picture layer
