Walto Disney wrote: Well thanks for answering me with a level head. And I never heard about him being banned. I know I accused him of being you and things didn't happen in the best way. I talked with him and agreed that he wasn't you. I just had to ask you to make sure that the stories were straight. Well, I can't help being level-headed now. Everyone's been hitting my noggin with sledgehammers, so it's all flat on top. Just kidding.

Well well, look who's back on Balto Source! Dragon Tamer, perhaps you've been able to cool off from your little rampage and immature conflict with apparently everyone on the site. Then again, who knows... Now I'd like to pose my thoughts onto your various comments.Dragon Tamer wrote: Why does that keep coming up? JLA1 was sort of acting in my interests on here in my absence. He really didn't have any long-term interests here- in fact, as soon as he's gotten un-banned (charged wth being me, big surprise), he plans to delete his account. So basically, he was asking my question. You're very observant, though. Ever think of becoming a police officer? You'd be good at it. I can see why people would accuse JLA1 of being you. And the fact that he plans to delete his account upon his return would only further be a basis for this accusation. Some people might even charge you trying to influence your fans to perform such actions as well, since it appears to be apparent you wish to leave some kind of mark on Balto Source. But this has nothing to do with the subject, and I digress...
The opinions on the topic of Balto and Jenna cheating on each other vary, and while there are solid facts, there are not many of them. Most of them have been presented by Lone Wolf_fanwriter, the major being that this is a fan site and being writers of fanfiction, we are curious as to think "what would happen if this happened or that happened, etc.". As for the act of adultery being a trend or fad, I'd have to agree with that on some point. It does seem to be one of the most popular considerations on the mind of a Balto fan, but then again it is also on the mind of any fan of a fictional couple. For example, I've seen fictions of the adultery of Simba and Nala and Kiara and Kovu, so this extends far beyond just the section of Balto. I believe this is so because we, as humans, are naturally curious. We see one thing happen and we want to know why it happens - and then we want to know what happens if something different occurs, this namely being adultery, or perhaps a death of a major character. We want to know what would happen if something didn't go right or if something changed; an example being what Claymore did. He wrote a fanfiction (though it is no longer on the site) about my fanfiction Balto: Espionage Tactics about what would've happened if Balto had failed. By nature, we have a desire to change things and observe the effects caused by this alteration.
And before you threaten to report me again, everything I've stated is legally within the safety of the rules. Thank you.

And before you threaten to report me again, everything I've stated is legally within the safety of the rules. Thank you. Did I threaten to report you? Well, never mind. You've sad nothing to offend or bother me this time, for which I thank you. I cooled down a little, but let's face it: if I let myself get cowed into being a "good little boy" that easily, I'd be betraying my friends. I wouldn't be Dragon Tamer anymore, I'd be Dragon Tamed. And I am all for the notion of "what could go wrong?" I use it myself, as anyone who reads my stories can tell you. I just think it's a bit of a stretch to go into things that would never happen. I can respect bending the rules of reality, especially since I'm a fan of C.S. Lewis. But when you start bending who a character is, you can only bend them so far before they aren't themselves anymore. Are you familiar with the Spiderman series? Think about Venom and you'll see what I mean. Are you serious about the Lion King thing? Man, it seems the only way any couple is safe anymore is if no one knows about them (then again, that defense didn't work too well For Romeo and Juliet). Well, I know this much: if anyone makes a story about MY characters cheating on each other, I'll hack their account and crash their hard drive. Just kidding. The onlyhacking I can do is the kind I do when I have a cold.

Because it's been dragged on long enough and personally I'm sick of it. No offense, if it was.

It's not bugging me, believe me I sleep at night. I told you in the PM, I've no interest in stretching this out further.

Why do we like it? The same reason why we like Desperate Housewives. The same reason we like reality shows. The same reason we like to know all about celebrities and their problems. Because people like to see other people's lives. Sex (whether you want to admit it or not) is entertaining to a lot of people. Cheating (whether you like it or not) is suspenseful and entertaining to a lot of people. That's why there's a lot of those fictions out there.

Let's face it, Mickey Mouse cartoons had more reality than those shows. I think it all boils down to sin nature.

Dragon Tamer wrote: Well, there are some of us who like to discuss ethical matters. If you don't like it, don't let it bug you. Why are you so anxious to see this shut down? For the same reason you wanted Rotramel's petition shut down, DT. I wanted to see if perhaps this topic would take a different path than your one on cheating, but it seems they are much the same. In any case, the arguing is going in circles, and neither side will be able to convince the other that their's is the one that's right. So, I propose that we drop this topic. Seeing as neither side will be able to convince, or silence, the other and that seems to have become the aim of this topic (rather than answering the question JLA1 asked). As Walto Disney, and others, pointed out: We don't seem to be solving anything, just arguing. And may I point out that, unfortunately, you are the only one who wants this still open, DT. All that's happened, though, is you've taken your rant and turned it into a question. I'm glad to have given you a straight answer, but since everyone else either wants this to end or won't act civil... Topic locked. Now, lets all take a deep breath and find something else to do, please. Forgive me if I've angered anyone, but I felt this had to be done. If anyone has concerns or beliefs to the contrary, or in general, please PM me. I'm here all day. Write on. -LWf
