You didn't push anything because it's completly obvious. And that's not the first time I warned you. Don't make me want to use my moderation power.

Well . . . it all depends on the opinions of the viewers, right? I think it's a different idea! I mean, the sequels are good too, but I think Balto would probably be more "educational" if it were a TV series . . . maybe on PBS or something. (It's part of history, right? Yeah, the movie isn't all the way correct with some of the facts, but still . . .) But then again, . . . . that's my opinion on the subject. The first one was only partially historic. If they were to do a tv series and just follow the true story it would only last a few weeks if it aired once a week since there isn't a whole lot of material to work off of. So really it wouldn't really fit on something like PBS since they'd probably have to fudge the storylines . It could be used to teach kids about animals and different cultures and that kind of stuff. Sorry if I wasn't specific enough!
Wow this is a lot of quotes.
Hmmm I guess. But I think just about any tv series could. With TLK they could have taught about Africa and the culture, but they went for humor instead. I'm kind of glad they didn't make it educational though. I think that would drain the fun out of it.

When in doubt . . . . They should make a TV series for Balto and then release it in a DVD boxset, like many recent shows have done!
That would be nice . . . . Doubt it wouls happen though, but it's worth a thought . . .

Maybe, but if marketing is the way to make Balto popular (which I think it is), then I'm totally not against it. It definitely needs more recognition. I don't see how it could be a disaster, since even if it wouldn't be good, except from us (few Balto fans), it wouldn't make a change to everyone.

But making a Balto tv series, they may wreck the story or the characters...a thing is to make a sequel, a thing is to make a tv series

I definitely agree with that. One reason I dread dtv sequals/tv shows is often they do ruin the characters.

well, if it does ruin the characters, even thought some old balto fans may be lost, but what if even more are gained from it then lost? inall i myself am still undecided.

I think that Universal should take some risks. Because if they don't, it will shape into another LBT, and I'm not sure that it would be really better.
