Anonymous Moderator PMs [Poll EDIT]

I have a different solution.
I will make one (or more) PM box for all the mods. Everyone will have the choice to send PMs with that box or your own one.
Also, things reported would go into the shared PM box instead of yours, so that if a mod isn't there or isn't doing his job anymore, the others will be able to handle these reports.

Mmm...that could take some getting used to -- but I'm not one to complain. XD I know I may end up regretting I ever said this, but anyway: steet, I REALLY hate to be speaking for just the mods, so I just want to put the idea out that there are members on this site who'd benefit from having such a feature as well...

I repeat myself : the problem with the current solution, is that when someone report a fanart for example, it goes to ONE fanart mod. If he isn't anymore on the site, currently busy, etc...Then the report is lost. That's the reason for a shared box.
I don't think I would make just an anonymous option, I think a shared box for mods is better.

Yes, I wish to make a similar admin for everything, but I'll have to remake it entirely, and it's not priority for now. And PHPBB3 code would be hard to use and integrate, it would be easier for me to write everything myself.

Think about it; if someone didn't know who, for example, didn't accept their fanart, what would they be able to do? Wouldn't they want to PM the person back and talk it out with them?
On the other hand, there's those flame PMs when people get mad over something that a moderator did. It would prevent those, yes, but what if that's not the case?

It's not really hidden, that's only because the account I use on the site is the french one, and when I tweaked so that people can send PMs to the other forum. When this happens, the names aren't kept.

I agree. This is basically where I sit on the matter too. Although, the idea it's self is original and interests me. It'd have it's Pros and Cons.
