None of the merchandise shown here is based on the actual hero.

It's all based on the fictional animated version.

Wow. I would have never expecte merchenise. I really wouldn't be embarrassed to by a t-shirt or a jacket. I don't care if it was based on the fictional character or the real Balto, I would still buy it.

So Universal planned on Balto being successful enough to make merchandise for? It's a shame that the movie didn't catch on. In a way though, I'm glad it didn't get that popular. Many consumers view merchandising as "milking", which is a bad thing.

I really would have liked to have that Balto Baseball Cap. I guess Universal had high expectations at first.

The blanket and the mug would be awesome for me. Balto tea hahaha.

It's too bad this never took off. I don't know why Universal thought Balto could beat Toy Story (by a lot looking at the extensiveness of that merchandise), it was better off to release it at a time when there weren't any other competitors in the cinemas. But it was just not meant to be \o/.

Wow! That Balto merchandise looks amazing! I would love to have some Balto slippers and of course Balto pillow cases and bed sheets.

Merchandise isn't somethin i'm into buying in huge amounts but for the love of Balto I would buy a few items if they had been made

Those are soo sweet^^ I really enjoy that blancet and...everything^^, I wish it was a pettition we could sign,because this is good for universal if they realises it.. In my option; If i where able to buy, i had done it!
