Clowns can be quite creepy if they smother on lots of weird make-up. Otherwise, I think they're fine. At a circus I once went to, there was this clown who wore hardly any make-up at all. He was hillarious, and he didn't need any colourful face paint or whatnot at all.

Its the gace-paint that gives me the creeps-i dont even like to much ordinary make-up.

Truthfully, I think clowns don't need any make-up or extremely colorful clothes, a sence of humour is just what it takes to be what I called a good clown, I've seen people like that in Australia, they don't need clowny things, just some stuffs then they are ready to entertain everyone in the street. Honestly, who would want to put make-up excessively on?
