It is understandable. But those animals you would hunt, Probably will never harm you.

To be honest, I find hunting for just the thrill to be despicable. It would be acceptable if it was to survive, but game hunting is nothing but gruesome, and it makes me sick. There are a couple of things I would like to poke on.

1. First of all, how can anyone possible be able to kill an animal without a good reason (which the only two good reasons are protection or survival)? How can anyone stare into the eyes of an animal they are just about to kill? I find people who are able to do so as monsters.

2. Your dad becomes proud because of your game hunting? There are other ways to impress your dad on, but hunting shouldn't be one of them. And if your parents are not impressed by whatever good thing you do (that means, f.ex making something) there is something seriously wrong. (exceptions does apply, which are tabu to mention here). You don't have to kill to impress.

3. Even though your father will leave you his guns when he is released from this mortal world, it doesn't mean you MUST use them. You shouldn't become a game-hunter when you "grow up", but who am I to stop you if you really wish?

Well in my honest opinion, I think hunting is wrong. Just because we can kill something does not mean we should. It sounds very twisted to say you want to make your father 'proud' by hunting and killing animals - another living thing.



Okay, do you even know how likely that is? Obviously not if you posted it... You are more likely to be attacked/killed by your pet dog rather than a wolf. Why? Dogs have no fear of humans while wolves do. They don't bother us so we have no right to bother them.



I agree with that statment. Most of the members here are fans of Balto (counting out the ones that just joined for the 'heck of it') and are in turn fans of wolves. Saying you want to "make [your] father proud" by killing them for no reason is going to make people angry. And since you stated your opinion, we cannot stop them to do so themselves. But, also like AG said, they should not express them in flames.

Hmm... I like the idea of hunting. I have no strong feelings with it. I like deer and moose hunting, because of their meat. But wolves? You can only hunt wolves in Alaska and some of Canada. There is nothing to get out of hunting them exsept the pelt. If you wanna make yer daddy proud, start up a processing place. And hunt deer, elk, and moose.

I rest my case, but this rant is silly and the topic should be locked...

Definitely--this is what's known as trolling. I'm not even taking it seriously anymore.

I mean, anyone who's got these listed as their interests...
"guns, violence, explosions, blood, gore, guts"
doesn't deserve to be.
