Small Kopa tribute included during We Are One?

AB_Loves_Balto, technically you're not wrong since the cub was officially Kiara in the second movie

Though, I kinda would have liked it if Kopa was in TLK 2, even if he wasn't the main character. Like, this protective brother over his little sister who is taking big risks by loving an outsider.

I didn't really notice that until I first heard about Kopa. I have all 3 movies. So one night I was doing the scene frame by frame and aha! What do you know? It looks just like Kopa! So yeah it probably was a tribute to Kopa.

I don't think so. Because:

1. 99% of the world didn't even know about Kopa and most still doesn't. As in I think it unlikely they'd tribute something so unknown and unpopular (at the time of making SP.)
2. Chances are SP's makers themselves either didn't know about Kopa.
3. If they did know and meant that moment as a Kopa tribute, I believe they would've mentioned it or at least Kopa, in the making-of documentary 'Proud of Simba's Pride'. But they didn't.

It was a coincidence with a moment they thought would just be cute. Nothing more.
