wow listen to yourselves.
who cares if they make songs that are a little emotional, that doesn't mean you have to go, Oh they're emo.
They are a rock/alternative band in my eyes.
I personally hate how everyone labels bands and people EMO.
i wish the stereotype would die, because it's so overkilled now.[/rant]

Hmm Depends. Some of thier songs have an 'emo' touch too it. For instance, thier song 'Bleed It Out' has sort of an emo touch but then again thier song 'Breaking The Habbit' is alittle less emo-ish because the message of the song is how they have changed, and some of those changes ended up into happenenings that hurt them. I must say, Linkin Park's music can be depressing, but you would have to look to the message of the song.;D I'm not emo but I listen to Linkin Park and do love thier music, but then again there was a time when I 'was' emo that I listened to thier song more than ever. So I guess it depends on your perspective of being 'emo'. ;D

I have never heard of Bleed out. Is that the one song on their new albumb? But I still think that their albumb:Meteora is the most depressing one I have heard of. Their songs are full of anger and sadness but do have good points to them neh?

Yes Bleed It Out is from there new album, Minuets To Minight. But on the emo thing, thier genre isn't emo, it's Alternative but I guess some people categorize Alternative music as emo music, and that's okay as long as they know what they're talking about. ;D I mean same thing with Fall Out Boy. Everyone thinks they're emo, but then again all they sing is alternative and alittle rock so people switch that with being emo. So I guess everyone has there own opinions on how to categorize music?

I have only a few LP songs I'm listening to every now and then. No, I don't think they're emo, but their music is too hard for my taste.

Yeah I agree with that statement but Minues to Midnight as an album sucked! In my opinion, I only liked three songs on that album the others were bad. But emo title in almost be in every band I've seen lol.

What is with you people and this "Emo" crap. Grow up. Seriously Linkin Park is VERY far from this "emo" crap.

Screaming Vocals DOES NOT = EMO. Get over that people.

Very well put and people today don't know what is emo in per say what the emo genre is, Minute s to midnight was in the now in day genre emo, for todays genre of what they call emo is VERY emo. But this emo crap is very annoying! Get to know what emo actually is it would be best if not used at all! Very well put Snowboarder Doby! To emo is the point of the song what the lyrics mean! Not because they scream or they sing softly GEEZE get common sense people.
