Tani is right. This 'missing colour' gene is what I'm talking about. It's a recessive gene that causes a lack of pigmentation in the skin and results in the skin being a pale colour. A similar gene produces too much pigmentation in the skin, resulting in a dark colour.

It is most likely a white lion, it is definately NOT an albino lion though and that's for sure!

Yes, because the lions have blue eyes. I've seen white lions at the West Midland Safari Park. They are the only pride of white lions in England.
