I was supposed to have them off now, but last summer me and my friend decided to jump in a pool and I smacked my jaw on a metal bar while jumping in and screwing up my jaw, I actually had to have surgery for it in May. But me ortho said I'll get 'em off shortly after school starts this year. ^^

I had braces of November of my 5th grade year and got them off in september of my 8th grade year.

I actually just got mine on Wednesday of last week. I'm used to 'em by now, but for the first couple of days, I could've sworn that those things were more painful than automail. I must've been up to my eyes in Ibuprofen around that time.

Ha. I never had 'em.. but I do need them.. I don't really care about how crooked my teeth are, though.

Yupp, I just recently got them on.. Again!
No, it wasn't because I didn't wear my retainer. When I was about 10 only one of my two front teeth had been lost, the other one wasn't even loose. So the doctors took an x-ray, and it turned out I had TWO teeth above that baby tooth. So I underwent surgery to remove one of the teeth and to pull the baby tooth. The tooth didn't come down so they had to give me braces to pull my teeth apart to make room for the big tooth. When that didn't work, they gave me another surgery to attach a gold chain to my tooth that would hook to my braces and would be pulled down. Finally, after 1 1/2 years of braces it came down.
But, it came down crooked, and my bottom teeth are crooked too! So... YAY! MORE BRACES!! *being sarcastic and waving flag* I hate 'em they are so painful!
