bic// Kodi paced in continuous circles infront of the ward, impatient and anxious to see his mate, and just to know that she was going to be okay. Soon he got dizzy, and had to sit down, swaying slightly. He looked up at the clock, it's loud, suspenceful ticking ringing in his ears. The floor felt hard and cold under his paw-pads, as he raised and clicked his claws against it in a rythmitic fasion. His heart hammered in his chest, and he could hear it echoing on and on through his brain. He stood up and leaned his cheek against the door to listen in to the room, and maybe pick up what was going on. But all he could hear was humans talking in that strange language they communicate in, and couldn't understand a word. He sighed and lay down, curling his thick tail around his cold body, ready to wait until the ends of the earth to see Katie alive and well...

Steele:
A large, muscular, handsome malamute, with strong powerful limbs, a thick black and white coat, and piercing ice-blue eyes limped through the cold Alaskan forest, blood dripping from his left shoulder. He was once the most fastest and most famous dog in Nome... but that all changed... and the dogs of Nome turned they're backs on him. And he knew why, and accepted it in heavy tears. But he had changed... but knew it was pointless returning. No one would ever forgive him for what he had done, and what he could still do. He was now all alone in the world, with nothing or no one to live for. But didn't give up. Determined to find SOME kind of love... or even friendship was all he wanted to find. So he pushed himself on...

I guess if im going to be in this RP, and if Niju is going to be a small role, i suppose he's the perfect role. However, i was thinking, would it work for Kalgorn to come in and, i dunno, sorta help them out with their journey? I was thinking that the reason for his wanting to help them out would be because his family caught this disease.

Doctors in the ward worked furiously to figure out what was wrong with this female dog suddenly coming to them dizzy, feverish, and seemingly like she was coughing. Chest expanding and the small thing having to lurch forward. An hour passed, they stopped and opened the door, slowly brushing past Kodi to get to other patients-who coincidentally had the same disease.

Katie opened her eyes slowly, looking around the room. No cold hands touched her, and no voices reached her ears. I hope I'm not goign deaf she smiled weakly to herself at the thought. Layign her head bakc down on the examination table she sighed "K-Kodi?" she said in a low voice "Kodi where are you?"

A large wolf sat atop a rock, looking down at the bleeding malamute. An evident smirk made way across his muzzle. That stupid mutt and his daughter, ruined everyhing for him! Now all he needed was a plan, a plan to get bakc at them for what they had costed him; a pack. He was starving, almost skin and bones, tohugh he didn't give up too fast. But what this odd colored canine did had to be unforgivable; killing innocent huskies in nearby towns. Desperate times, desperate measures. You gotta have your way of living. But really, cannibalism? The strong male finally lost it. And now, for entertainment? Watchign a lone malamute drag himself along until he died. Of course the wolf would follow him til he died.

Or maybe, this is the start of a great partnership...

Kodi instantly jumped to his feet as the doctors rushed past, trying desperately to catch sight of Katie, but failed. He heard her say his name, and yapped impatiently, making a high whining as he watched them disappear into another room. He scratched at the door, but no one opened it. He made a shrill yowl to try and get someone - ANYONE's attention... but failed. Again. He made an even higher and shriller yowl, and jumped up on the door like when he jumped up on the musher, and tried to see through the window. But there were pieces of paper on the other side! He backed down, his paw pads making a high tap as they hit the cold floor, curling his thick tail around his rust-coloured body, tears falling unstoppably down his cheeks, leaving sparkling stains against his cream coloured face. He whimpered and hopped up on a chair 9n the waiting room and curled in a tight ball, keeping his gaze transfixed on the door

Balto padded silently into the hospital, glancing around at all the bustling activity. He hadn't seen the hospital like this in years! First it's the Diptheria Epidemic, and now there's this for dogs? he thought, shaking his head slowly in disbelief. Everything was so hectic; nurses rifling rapidly through folders and files of paperwork, doctors rushing about and into seperate rooms where to sick dogs were being held. He felt like he was suddenly back in 1925! Except people aren't kicking snow at me or chasing me away... he thought to himself, chuckling slightly, but lost all traces of happiness when his gold and brown eyes spotted Kodi. Balto heaved a sigh, feeling so bad for him. Out of everyone involved in this, his soon was taking the hardest hit. Balto couldn't stand to see Kodi like this and slowly approached him, sitting down beside the chair Kodi was lying on top of. "Hey Kodi..." he said softly, giving his son a small smile, "You holding out alright son? Something I can do for you?"
