They make me laugh because they say they are absolutely passionate about whatever it is but, usually, someone who is fascinated by something will want to display how much they know about it...OH well..
I agree!! Someone will say they love whatever it is, and yet post no more than the title of whatever it is or whatnot. Sometimes you need a little MORE than that. Like for books... a simple title; movies, maybe a year? (due to making movies over); and magazines... maybe giving us a link to it (as this goes for articles)... You can tell when someone really enjoys a book, movie, article, ect... They actually
tell you about it.

I don't think it should be a rule. People should accept whatever negative image it gives them. If all they say is, "its a good book/movie" and then people think they're not very smart because of it, that's they're problem.
I have to disagree with this. Because when I could be reading something worth while, I am wasting my time reading a sentence of pointlessness. And then I have to go and search for the book if I think it has caught my interest - which most of the time, it hasn't sense I know nothing about it. But still. And if its a book I like, I have to sit and grr at the pathetic topic it has been given. I think
not putting up a rule of sort is "not very smart".
