That's because the dogs were ordered by speed, not social status. My notion of Star as the "omega" is based on the fact that the other dogs, especially Kaltag, always seemed to picking on him. Notice how his ears looked kinda chewed? And he was skinnier than the other dogs too, a possible sign that they somtimes stole his food. If he were the omega, it would even explain why he was so fast. I knew a kid in elementary school who was the number one bully magnet, and he spent most of his recesses either running or hiding. By the end of kindergarten, he was the fastest kid in his grade, maybe in the entire school. Plus he knew every hiding place on the playground (and believe me, we had a big one), and had unbelevable agiity. If he had kept training like that until today, he'd probably have had a shot at being a stunt double for Spider Man.

hmmm i think its possible that "Some" could be offspring from the 1st movie... but then again im probably 100% wrong lol

Kirby kind of reminds me of Kaltag. Dusty's fur color is similar to that of Star's. Does anyone else think this is possible? People, where you get such questions? Is clear that no one from the sledteam is Baltos offspring ! Its ok by me , if you want to improvise =)) I like to do that myself .

If you ask me the sled dogs seem to big and too off looks to be the offspring of nikki, kaltag or star. But lots of other dogs were in the first movie, maybe the dogs of the other sled team that Steele 'took care of" at the beginning, or even the wheel dogs on Steele's sled team during the the serum run. The fact the kirby and them don't mention that there parents were on the serum might contradict that last one.
