Went for Star but not to say Kaltag and nikki aren't very close behind.
I just love Star's voice and appearence such a cute/ krazy looking husky

Kaltag has always been my favorite member of the trio. He looks the most dog-like, and i love how he's always bonking star on the head! (or sitting on his head if you recall) then comes Nikki, cuz he's the cool-type, and looks more like a dog than Star does. Star is a little too cartoon-y, and he seems kinda dim-witted (but that doesnt mean i dont love him! he always cracks me up!)

Which one's Nikki and which one's Kaltag? I thought Nikki was the one always bonking Star...

interesting story about their identities actually...
On the trailer for the movie, it shows the brown fluffy one and the tan one and the announcer identifies them as Kaltag and Star. The means that the grey one is really Nikki.
My guess is that a fan made a mistake when identifying them, and said that the brown one was Nikki, the tan one was Kaltag, and the grey one was Star.
Since everyone has gotten so used to the wrong identities over the years, we're stuck with it!

+ Robbie Rist voices Star and Im pretty sure his voice between Jack Angel and Danny Mann is the one that can get closest to it, the other two voice actors are older

Yeah, the guy in my avatar is definitely Star. The credits identify Robbie Rist as Star, and I recognize the same voice from many of his other roles. The DVD trailer is wrong.

Kaltag = Golden one who always uses a range of words to compliment Steele
Nikki = Fat brown one
Star = Small grey one who always kills jokes and gets hit for it
Anyway, I voted Kaltag. He's just so pwnsome.
