Hey... that does sound like a good idea... I would PM steet, but something tells me that he'll have a good reason not to do it... probably the sam one you stated, that there are people who say they are advanced, but who need even just a little work.... maybe there could be new RP mods, and they could "recruit" people into the advanced RP section, and there is one password that only the advanced people know... might be a good idea... I change my mind, I'll PM steet.

Thanks about the new RP idea... I probably will make another one, sometime, but at the moment, I don't have any ideas, and I don't want to randomly make one... like many of the others. But I'll keep that in mind!

Yeah, I think they should hold "tryouts" to see who is advanced and who is not. There would probably be only about 10 advanced RPers at the most, but it would make alot of people happy (including me, MayaHuskee and, obviously you).

Right, I know quite a few would like this... I PMd Steet, but nor reply, as of yet.

Most people would not say this not at all (To me) but I do not RP that good but sometimes I can be really long...but just wait...I am new to this, so I would not be good when I start, right? And Kodiwolf you are one of the best RPers I have ever seen (With a few others) Really...don't even think it's only that I am one of your friends...no way...I pick good people that are nice...and I don't talk to you a lot Kodiwolf...so really I'm just a side friend of yours...now I don't want to get off topic here so...I love the good RPers and I want to be like them...but I just need more info...anyways awsome topic!

Thank you!! No, most RPrs need a bit of work before they become "advanced," but that doesn't mean you cannot be good the first time.

Aww, thanks! I didn't think I was that good of a RPer....But you have to be the most advanced RPer I've seen...and B_T too.

Now getting back on topic...I voted for "Helps a lot!" (3rd option) because I, too, post short posts sometimes  This helped me to think out what I'm going to do with RPs. And to those who don't follow the rules: I hope they read this and listen to you

Yes It helps alot. I wasn't a very good role-player but I just needed experiance and neither can I stand when its a short post or when it has stuff like -quote- Mom what's happening*crys* -unquote- That really annoys me

 Thanks! Well, short posts aren't ALL bad, I just mean one liners, like:

"So-and-so went and sat over by the fire because she/he had nothing better to do thinking of what had just happened it all made no sense."

Jumbled bunch of blah if you know what I mean... Thanks for voting! And I think you are a great RPr, from what I see in the Hope RP!

Those are the kinds of posts I am getting at, short things like that. Of course the other person wants to say something... but if there is going to be that short of a post, I think the person should elaborate on the character's feelings.

This is why I don't go on the RolePlay box hardly at all. Same with the reason I'm hardly in any RolePlays here on the fourms. Not many people know how to do it right and make it sound good. The few times I went on the role play box it was pretty much everyone using astricks for actions. There were no quotation marks for speaking, either. It drove me insane. But I was bored enough to stay. xD And whenever I posted, it was always a nicely written out paragraph.

But yeah.. in short I agree. =]

I hate The "*" in the Roleplay box and how everyone doesn't roleplay there...so I don't go to the Roleplay box at all and I need to tell people that they need to RP in the RP box!

Why do I have strong feeling that author of this rant thinks that everybody who is under his... dunno how to say... under his personal 'limit' is bad RPer.

Well, this rant was not a "I can't stand bad RPrs - which is everyone besides the people I listed." I was merely commenting on MY ideas.

Claymore wrote:
Yes, a lot of RPs suffers from lack of quality, but RP is meant to be a fun. And if you are going to restrict it like: At least four lines etc etc you 'kill' it for a lot of people. If you don't like bad roleplays then don't join them. If you see weak plot, then leave the RP topic.

Right... I know it is meant to be fun. Anything we do, in the long, should be, right? What I am saying is:
There is a line between "Let's make this fun. I know lots of people will join it because it sounds good." Fine then... if you like the idea, I am NOT accusing anyone or everyone of being a copycat. All this was about was the fact that there are SO many RPs that are the same again and again and again. I'm suggesting that more originality is needed. In my opinion, that is what makes a good RPr. Someone who thinks out of the box. And sure: leave the RP if you don't like it. But I know some people would - and I will - leave almost every RP because they are all the same.

Claymore wrote:
And I think there are much more good roleplayers than you listed...

Agree or disagree. It's your right. And my right is to say what I think...

I am sure there are. These are the only people I myself have seen RP. These are my views, this isn't a "Everyone's opinion is being written through me" thing, so I am sure everyone has a different opinion, which is good. That's what the world is, that's how everything goes. You do have a right to say what you think. As does this "Rant," which it isn't really... I meant it as more of a suggestion topic in RPs. But it doesn't fit in suggestions, that is for the site.

Yeah I would say im over being an okay Rper but not exactlly a advanced rper if there was 4 choices id
chose number 3.
1:Begining Rper (Not so good of an rper many spelling mistakes and theme rolls off topic more than offten)
2:Okay Rper (It's not to good but not to bad about 5-10 spelling mistakes and theme roles off about 3-6 times)
3:Great Rper (Is great at rping 2-3 spelling mistakes, theme rolls off about only 1 time.)
4:Advanced rper (Magnificent at rps barelly any spelling mistakes 1-2 theme never rolls off topic.)
