I know that this is a forum and you can post anything you want as long as its appropriate and on-topic. Fanart belongs in the fanart section and subjects like "What's your favorite way to be an idiot?" belong in the Other section. But what I don't get is why you have to make a topic for EVERY. LITTLE. THING you do.
Like, let's say you drew a picture and you want to show it to everyone on the forums! That's cool right? Well, let's say you drew another one. And another. And another. AND ANOTHER.
AND ANOTHER. AND ANOTHER. Until FINALLY you have what would be considered an entire forum dedicated to your drawings!
OR! Let's say you started hiccuping! And you wanted to count how many times you hiccuped that day. And you hiccuped again. AND AGAIN.
AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. Until FINALLY you have a week's worth of topics on the forums for each individual hiccup you ever did that day!
Not only is that fricken annoying to see your name there 35643 times, but it takes up unnecessary space! And it also takes away attention from, dare I say, BETTER topics.
Now, I've been drawing my entire life. And say I drew 5 pictures EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And let's also say that out of those 5 pictures, 2 of them were Balto-related. Now, how fair would it be if I made an individual topic for EACH 13,870 drawings. That'd be pretty fricken annoying wouldn't it? Wouldn't it be less annoying AND less of a hassel for MYSELF if I just put ALL of those drawings in ONE TOPIC? Yeah!
SO WHY DON'T YOU FREAKING DO IT? It's not brain surgery! Spare us all from seeing your name an obscene amount of times and just make ONE TOPIC FOR YOURSELF. If you have something ELSE you want to put on the forums and it has nothing to do with your OTHER topic post, then make another for THAT thing! My God! There are people out there who'd have a fricken aneurysm just thinking about doing something THAT difficult
Why no one else has noticed this yet is BEYOND me, but I must say I LOVE how people bend the rules for one person. I don't care how "good" you are at whatever the heck you're posting about, no one cares about it THAT much that you have to make a CNN Newsflash every time you do something in your life besides twitch!
