At first I thought this was just a dream and would never happen, but you have taken it seriously and I would really like to go, I will probably be able to persuade my parents once I turn sixteen to go! But after reading it, may I ask if more infomration will be released later on?

Most definatly. We are still trying to work out bugs and get all our information straight before letting all of it out. The Committee and I are working hard to get things done. We are working on the date, permission slips, and other important things now. We should have some more information availible in July or so. Please stand by. Dont be in a rush to convince your parents to let you go - it wont be until June 2008. ;] Let us get time to get everything set up and all the facts down.

This has actually gone pretty far, so I'd like to congratulate Maya for that. XB

As far as I'm concerned, I won't be able to go all the way to Ohio to meet people who I associate with online (I just know my mom wouldn't agree to it, no matter HOW safe it is).

So I hope everyone who goes has a good time. I know this'll be a big success. :D

Unless you have five links, I have to disagree. This is the latest topic, by ME for the trip being under MY control. This will be the ONLY topic for it while under my control. This topic is purposefully for getting people on the forums attention drawn to it. There is one for the site dwellers, and one for the forum dwellers. Plus we have a site with more info on it, and forums for people to sign up to get updates, and post opinions and more. This is to get peoples attention. Thats about it.

Well, im a little skeptic about this whole idea. There's been talk about this for such a long time and i don't know if it's going to happen. If it does ever happen, there's a 99.9 percent chance that I wont be there. Mainly because my parents already find it funny that I even go to BaltoSource, let alone a trip to Ohio to meet members. But, good luck with this.

You guys are forgetting something, this is not Maya and a group of friends saying. "Omg lets go meet people in a different country!" It will be cool!" She has taken it not only seriously, but is also trying to make it as safe as possible. I believe that she can get it done. I shall stand by for more information, thanks Maya.

And if anyone has a question they need answered, I am on the committee and could help you or at least point you in the right direction as to who can. ;]

I voted for two days, but now that I look at the results I see that most people voted for three..that seems a little too much for me; two days seems to be enough to look around, get to know everyone and socialize without spending too much money.

I was going to say "whatever is cheaper" but that'd be selfish. XD

Going to Nome would be lovely, yes. But much to far out of our reach - especially for a first time trip. As I have probably mentioned before, maybe in the future. But for now, Its to Cleveland, Ohio. There happens to be plently of Balto-related things there that everyone will love. ;]



Yes; there has been talk for a long time. But, the reason for this is because we began planning this for the trip to be coming up in June of this year. But that didnt happen because of UK's unusual disappearance. When she left, the trip died because she was the ring leader. But now that UK came back, and announced that she could no longer take care of the trip, persay... Lucky, I was first to reply to this, asking her if I could take over the planning and such. I have put a lot of effort into this trip so far, and you will see much more. Heck - there is this topic, the projects page, the site, and the forums for it. Dont you think I am just a wee bit serious about it if I am willing to put in all that time?

I am going to do everything in my power to make it safe for you, your parents, friends, ect... I plan to have more info on the 'Important Information' page on the website about it being safe soon.. but probably wont be up til... eh, around July.. as I have said, I am busy and dont really have time. ;]



Well, for the Committee it wouldn't matter between the two-three day thing. ;] And it really doesn't matter to me, because I will probably be there at least Four days anyways. XD But I thought of the three day thing so that way we could also do something Unrelated to the real Balto - because that is what most of the trip will be about. Seeing the real Balto and such. The third day would just be a party type thing. ;]



And Merci, donations are appreciated. I have mentioned it to my mother a few times now... She needs to talk to Fred about it. Because you know... hes 'the man' -_-.... Well, I am not sure if that is the reason. XD But all well. So yeah. She PLANS on talking to him. I will bother her about it until she gets it done. It should hopefully be up by July... latest at the beginning of August.
