I have decided that this is in fact my FAVORITE LP album now!
Among my favorite songs from the album include:
Hands Held High (Best song LP has EVER written with a killer delivery from Shinoda !)
No Roads Left (Dayyummm, Mike Shinoda is a hell of a singer in this one! but you still can't top Chester's leads though!)
Leave Out All The Rest
Shadow Of The Day
In Pieces
The Little Things Give You Away (TOTALLY EPIC!)
Well I agree to hate those songs Since I hated the album so much but wanted to know people's opinion, I went to 100 LP fans who have bouth each album, and their opinion was for hand held high, witch was a money making farce song. Hand held high the general opinion, "A government bashing song, lets blame the government song, why in the world did LP write this? Horrible, inspirational. " My opinion, of hands held high which was mostly agreed on with the people I talked to. Hands Held High: My hands are held high yeah very high in shock. I didn't buy MTM, to hear LP complain about the government! I would asked for it! Geeze I thought LP was more adult and mature then other bands well apparently not so far it seems the legend of LP wants to end in MTM. This was most likely a money making farce song, making LP degrading them of their legend of a mountain to nothing but a pile of dust. "With a leader an obvious waste" this obviously is referring to the LP leader and writer. "Uttering and shuddering what did he say?" This NEEDS to be asked to THEM! "In my living room I'm not laughing." This is for YOU! For this song if you had nightmares of LP saying words that aren't LP and immature and everything LP isn't but they make it them by changing from talent for disaster is explained and horrifyingly enough is this song. 1/10
Leave Out All The Rest
My opinion : "Leave out all the rest" leaving out the talent of Given up perhaps this was talking about Given up on making great songs anymore, the beginning of the song is obviously gives you hope that soft LP is matches up easily to the hardcore one which I had really hoped for in "Minutes To Midnight" but leave out all the hope for a softer LP to be great, they left it out of this song. My only opinion on this LP left out all the rest of talent out of this song.
General opinion of the 100 LP fans I viewed, (that have every song from them I check.) "It sucks, I don't want to talk about that, pathetic song, poor excuse of a LP song. Too slow paced. Emo!"
In Pieces: The talent of LP is "in pieces" and this song does a wonderfully good job explaining that to everyone with the lyrics sounding like a 10 grader in Africa would write a song In pieces would be the outcome. This song is a reason of why MTM is hated so much and said the worst LP album by far. Linkin Park is "In Pieces"
General opinion: "ok, barely good, only listen to once, worst LP song ever! Enough to be LP worthy"
The Little Things Give You Away: The little lyrics you have in your song that has talent, the little music that has talent gives the album a somewhat of a good name. The small talent in this album gives it away as a the worst of Linkin Park by far the last song leaving the impression asking "Why did I buy this?" You simply never want to listen to the whole album ever, ever again just the songs you like. Linkin Parks Minutes to Midnight people say is there worst album by far for a reason perhaps less if the last song had some talent in it. 1/10
Not good, bad, best song ever, sad, poor, shameful to by LP, horrible.
Shadow Of Day: This is a perfect example of the soft Linkin Park is just as good as any harder edged LP, the shadow of the day, with a wonderful mix of music and lyrics makes the shadow of of everyones day a bit better making the hard times seem that they will set and things will get better. The music in this I like best, the lyrics partly want to make you shout the lyrics, a great song of LP hopefully now the album with turn to what LP should be! This is a wonderful song with the talent of LP but the to MAX this is a reason why LP is a god of rock. 9/10
General opinion: a bit too slow, too emo, a great song, a great soft LP song, better song on MTM. Best soft song of LP.
Well your say is your say I won't change that dislike but respect my anger in MTM is that there was no originality as an album, same thing done time after time.....LP I thought like before they be a hybrid, but no They AWOL in in there talent, and don't use any originality... sad sad album...Horrific
