Well, from reading all of the posts on this board, I would say (in my opinion) that the RP Box has just become another Shout Box. The only way it's different, is by people flaming each other while RPing, like Fire_paw stated. I think that maybe Steet should close the roleplay box for a period of time, not forever but temporarily, and see if the fighting openly decreases.

I'm not sure removing it would do any good. People would just roleplay on the regular shout box, or they would just fight there...
Can't you report this to the mods when this is happening? If they are fighting, they are surely being offensive and that's a moderator job.

This is why I suggest that you only take the roleplaying box away for a period of time, say, 3 weeks. A month tops. It would be a good experiment for you, the administrator, to see how the fighting/arguing rate decreases or increases.
You could always post an annoucement saying that the box will be taken away for ________ days/weeks/months, and that, as usual, no one should roleplay in the Shout Box. If they do, they could be given several warnings or a moderator could just ban them right away, if you wish.

No this wouldn't do any good I think cuz...
1. Like Steet said people will just fight on the shout box and fourms,
2. The people 70% of people who don't do this, will have to suffer as well
3. The people that do/don't do this may get angriy, Spam the site and send mean messages to Steet, Mods, People that got the rp box gone for a bit, and other inocent people.

At best, they would stop during the time the RPG shout box would be down, and the fightings would come again as long as the RPG box will be up again.
At worse they would complain a lot, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't change their attitude.
The problem here is attitudes, how can we make them change their attitudes for the best? I think this needs to be studied case by case, unfortunately. Maybe a good thing to do would be to find the root of the problem, what is starting the fight. And I doubt it's the RPG box itself.

Well most of the time it's different things that cause it, most people are either having a bad day or are just inmature, Here are a few exaples of types of problams: (Not real as again I don't want to put anyone in the spotlight) (Read top - bottom)

Person 3: Blah balh blah?  Hi person 1!

See what I mean, there are many more reasons, this is one of them. Most people start when someone has acussed them of something e.t.c
*Sighs* I am ten, but definatly more grown up than some people!
