Chapter three:Love and Jealousy

Kodi is now on the scent of Dusty's trail as its getting stronger and Stronger by the second! "KODI! WAIT UP!" Kirby and Ralph shouts as Shadow speed up past them to meet up with their young, leader.

"I think that we should slow down abit, should we?" Shadow says as she runs beside Kodi. "I cant lose her scent now! She's counting on us!" Kodi says as he stops when he comes to a full scent of Dusty's smell.

Kodi sniffs the ground as it hits the spot! "She's underground!"Kodi panicks as Shadow sighs in disappointment and jealousy as she helps him dig out Dusty from the snowy ground. After diggiging the snow up for awhile, Kodi notices a small, patch of lillac/brownish fur, sticking up enough for him to see!

He uses his fangs to grip the small body of fur, then with all of his strength left in him, he pulls Dusty out and thrusts her onto the snowy ground beside him. After catching his breath, he goes over to his frozen companion to see if she's still alive. Kodi puts his ear onto her chest, to hear a heart beat.

"Thank good, she's still alive!" Kodi says as he does a happy dance as he licks her face to wake Dusty up. "Dusty?Dusty?"Kodi says as her body begans to wiggle as Kodi lays ontop of her, to keep Dusty warm. As Kodi lay on his best friend, her eyes began to open up as she wiggles more than before.

Being surprised at Kodi, Dusty smiles as Kodi notices her beign awake. "Good, you're awake..." He says as he continues to keep her warm. "We should get her back to Nome before she gets sick..."Shadow says as she gets jealous of the two, together.'If only I could be like that..."

Kodi gets up from keeping Dusty warm as he and Shadow help her onto his back and heads home! Dusty tries to keep her eyes open but cant. Dusty smiles as she starts to fall asleep. Kodi looked back at her and gave her a smile of greatfullness as they all head towards home together.Like a pack of wolves...

Thank ya'll for reading my storyz!

Hey... nice story i've read! and i like the story very much, fantastic!

Chapter four:Why do I care?

As the five dogs head back to Nome from Kodi and Shadow leading the way(since one is mostly wolf and the other is not even half wolf). "Hey D-D-Dusty?Are you feeling okay?" Kodi asked as Dusty still wont respond. Shadow looks annoyes with Kodi's consern then says "She'll be fine! All we gotta do is to bring her home!"She says trying to comfort Kodi as he actually looks at her for the first time in awhile. He usually gives her a quick glance at her!

'He is looking at me!' Shadow thougt as she smiles back at him and nuzzled the reddish husky wolf near her then looks at her also. Kodi just smiled and blushed at Shadow's touch. Shadow maybe the same height and build as Kodi and Dusty but her fur color is way different from either of them.

Shadow is desinged like Balto(since she is a half wolf dog), but is Dark grey and light grey all over with Dark, blue eyes and a black nuzzle. She has been on Kodi's team for almost a year now. She always loved Kodi ever since she laid eyes on him! But since Kodi seems to like Dusty a bit more than her, it made her heart sank at the very thought.

'I have to win his heart sometime!' Shadow vowed to herself as Kodi tells her to keep up with them as they almost made it to Nome. As they went in Nome territory, Kodi carries Dusty on his back still, as he reaches her house. Kodi gently drops her off his back and helps her backt to in order to walk her inside her house! After going in the doggie door, Kodi sees Dusty get curled up in her dog bed, then lays the cover on her as he too falls asleep right beside her. Ralph and the rest of the team also did the very same thing.

Comeon people, I worked REALLY hard on this story
