You should be excited, you would be seeing your hero's beautiful statue, somewhere where he once stood.

I'd love to see Balto's Statue Someday. I'd just look at a picture to see where he stood go there and stand in that place and yell out to random people "Balto stood here. You only wish you could stand here don't you?" XD

I saw the statue. My friend took me. She sat on Balto's back as if he was a horse. :lol:

There was alot of people there.

BaltoSeppala, you must read a lot! I didn't know quite a bit of that, and I read quite a bit. That was highly informative and I thank you for taking all that time to write those huge posts to inform us.
Why do those breed associations set up guidelines that resemble dogs that look nothing like the breed the guidelines are set up for? I mean, that just frustrates people who like the "old-style" and makes for a poorer line of dogs. It also doesn't seem to preserve the "old-style" dogs that people strove for centuries to create, such as the true Siberian Huskies.
