I have mum,and dad too.And iam not adoptet as puppy!!!

well.. I get along with my dad quite well.. but that's probalbly because he's at work all day :roll: .. but still he's really nice to me, but of course he can get annoyed, but can't any parent... Then there's my mom.. she's nice but more strict. She has rules, that if I go watch a movie with friends saturday night, I have to be home at a special time.... and the rules about going into town shopping and stuff.. but all and all their nice and okay parents...

ArcticWolf91 --> Wise and true ;D Normal parents want their children's good, not annoy them. I'd stop complaining, imagine what kind of life you could have without them? You could be homeless or adopted by worse people. SOme children do't have parets at all. They wouldn't complain if they would had someone who cares for them. As long as your parenst aren't an alcocholic and doesn't abuse you, you should appreciate their interest, and stop complaining about that they want you to be safe

My parents are really cool. I mean, my mom took me and my sister to our first rock concert (Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stone Temple Pilots) and went to see Slayer with us. How is that not cool? My folks are just good people.

Yeah, they can get on my nerves after a while, I think I'd eventually get fed up if I had to live with them full time again, but hey, that's how things work. You grow up and move out on your own. I love my parents dearly and I'm very grateful for all they've done for me over the years.

Their cool and they make me laugh and make me feel great! I wouldn't trade them for anything else in the world!

Parents provide food and shelter. Parents fund studies. I can't really complain.

My parents and me do not get on great, I look for role models outside family. But most parents may annoy you but it is just in your best intrest. It's just a small number including myself who grow more distant with their parents every year.

YEs! Deffinately! Sometimes my sister gets away from getting introuble by my parents babying here and she's younger than i am! GRRR!They ignore me alot from their problems but they still love me and care for me that's all that counts.Even if it means being annoying.

There's nothing wrong with my father ad mother, just a little problem with my bad behaviour...sometimes.

Personally, this topic is making everyone want to complain about your parents... is that what you want? Do you really hate your parents that much? If you did/do, then you shouldn't be blabbing to the world about it. If it weren't for your parents, many of you most likely wouldn't be here, at all. Or you would have been influenced by someone else, possibly by something that I, and many others, would consider bad.... You are talking about them behind their backs. If you dislike them so much as to complain to other people, why not tell them?

Oookay...since people seem to get mad when people say they dislike their parents, I'll get say that I dislike the way they treat me.

Well, actually, it's not my actual dad that I don't appreciate. It's my mom's boyfriend, who literally THINKS he's my dad and will stick his nose in my face and scream at me when I don't listen to him. I don't think that's fair. He's not my dad, he's not my STEP-dad, so why should I have to do what he says and get screamed at by him when I don't?

My mom's learning from him too. She screams at me a lot and tries to keep me away from my friends because she thinks they're ruining me and that I "used to be a good kid" until I got into a new group of people. Psh. Maybe I just don't like random people pointing fingers and constantly criticizing me when they're not even my father. I think any teenager would become rebellious in that situation.

My dad has always been there for me though. He tries to help me whenever I'm having a problem with my mother or her boyfriend. He doesn't like how they treat me and my sister either, and even though he and my mom are divorced he said that he'll still intervene if this kind of thing keeps happening.

Oh, how fun my home life is. :D

Both my mother and father work two jobs to pay for everything, to care for us, feed us and put us in a decent school. I have been raised to appricate, respect and know right from wrong. At times they yell, their are a few times where we have our rough spots. But I have never hated them. They go through your things because they love and care for you. If I had a child I would too. Your parents want to know what's going on in your life, where your at and what time your going to be home for YOUR safety.

Show them they can trust you, my parents taught me drinking, smoking and all those things were bad for you. I have been presssured to drink, smoke, do drugs. But because my parents raised me well, cared for me, went through my stuff. I know not to do that. I've gone to parties where everyone has been drunk but me. I am proud to say that I know better then to do these things. They have my trust, I can pretty much do as I please because of this. I come home when asked, I call, I check in. Respect your parents and they will respect you.

My mother and father trusted me enough to allow me to go meet my two best friends [whom I ment online] because they know I know better then to randomly trust anyone. Of course our mothers chatted and all that. You cannot be too careful even though how much you talk to someone.

So do not hate your parents, when they snoop around your room, yell at you for bad grades, disapprove of the people you hang out with. They are only looking out for you and want you to grow up to be an amazing person.
