What year are you in? I'm saying years... you're in England aren't you? That's all the subjects that I had to do when I was in year 9. Grr.. year 9 was a bore. But then, year 10 is so much more pressured.

I hope to study social studies, animal welfare and animal handling when I go to college or sixth form but I haven't really decided yet.

Why do you need to know Spanish and proper grammar? So you can be a good writer if you ever have to publish a paper, and so you can communicate in an increasingly interdependent world. Trust me, you need all those basic things, even if you don't need them in college. I'm a Political Science major, I don't need to know fractions. But, it's helpful to know them anyway.

Here's what I'm studying in my second to last semester of college...I'm graduating a semester early! Hooray!

Political Science 340- Constitutional Law
Political Science 240- Political Theory
Political Science 230- International Relations
History 342- Tragedy and Triumph: The Making of Modern Japan
Christ College (Honors College) 325- Hermeneutics of Hospitality

Next Semester I'll be taking...

Christ College (Honors College) 325- Enduring Lessons in American Law and Politics
Political Science 493- Senior Seminar in Political Science
History 324- Depression and War- US 1929-1945
Theology 318- Jesus and the Gospels
Political Science 335- Politics of Developing States: Latin America
Christ College (Honors College) 499- Senior Colloquium

See, when you get to college, all the classes have fun-sounding names. Instead of History, you get a cool name. Instead of English, you get Hermeneutics. It's fun!

I've been looking around at colleges myself. I want to go to Northwestern Ungergrad and DePaul's School of Music to major in Musical Performance. I'll either go for vocals or saxophone. If I'm good enough, maybe guitar or bass.

I was thinking about Northwestern, too, actually. My plan right now is to get a major in electrical engineering, and I've heard that Northwestern is a good school for engineering majors. But I'm also hoping to get a minor in Italian (or Italian Studies), and I'm not sure whether or not Northwestern offers that.

It's a great school for engineering. University of Illinios has an AMAZING engineering school as well.
Here's thier main site. My dad went to Northwestern so I see it a lot. Plus, I only live 1/2 hour away from the city.

Ceramics & Screen printing (in Art 2)
Spanish 2
Photoshop
WW2
Literary analysis (ugh)

My hopes for the future are to go to art school, but I don't know how likely it is :(
