Quote: Sorry, it's just a bit odd that you don't like these breeds, the breeds that are most people are scared of. No offense, you don't like them. That's cool. But may I ask why? It's just, I would hope it's not because the people on the news said their 'evil' which they aren't.
I don't dislike them because they are 'evil.' To be more specific, I don't like the way they are handled. Some people do not give them obedience training or anything of the sort, and they often run amok. I don't believe the hype that they are 'dangerous monsters.' They are useful breeds, but many people buy them not knowing how to handle them properly.

Labradors have to be my least favorite of all breeds. I happen to live in Labville USA- everybody and their mama has one and I've gotten SO sick of seeing them. Geez people, can't you find a breed of dog that isn't so popular and inbred? My house is surrounded by *3* lab owners; every one of those dogs gets on my nerves constantly. They NEVER shut up, their brains are the size of a peanut and they're dangerous. My second cousin was mauled by their family labrador, attacked in the face, and almost didn't make it through surgery. What a wonderful family dog Pitties, on the other hand, put labs to shame in the safety department.
I don't like putting an entire breed in one catagory, but I haven't met a lab in all of my years of interacting with dogs that didn't fit the mold of a non-stop eating and barking machine that has an I.Q. lower than a chicken. There's just something about dumb dogs that I just can't seem to get used to like half the rest of the population.
I'm going to get heck for this post, but you can't knock little dogs without getting knocked back.

Actually I'm going to have to correct you there. Labradors generally have high intellectual standards and are usually not aggressive. They are family dogs but, every breed has exceptions. My dog is crossed with a Labrador and she is quite smart.
