yes, this is getting pretty annoying. this started when Mizzy created the Gaurdian of the Cold, when that was on, I made one. but now that more and more people are making new breeds JUST because Mizzy did it, I don't even look at it.

it's just to get attention and 'praises' for creating a new breed...

and yes, when they look as much like the other breeds already created, I get disgusted by the similarities.

All i see is people who are dog/people (werewolf) ect..

Eh, it wouldn't be quite as annoying if only people would be more creative and original instead of copying off old ideas.

I know what you mean, with there being SO MANY of them and all... but... I still try not to get annoyed.. so far.. I have failed.

the only thing i've done is make an RP character, but it's not a new breed. She's just a normal lion.
And I really only rp with a couple people.
But I really think people should AT LEAST slow down on this new fad.

It bothers me why so many people are actually bothered by this little "problem". No offence, but it isn't much of a problem. If people want to make new breeds they can. I like JayC's breed, I think their awsome! And frankly hers is the only 'new' breed I have seen. It doesn't seem that as many people as you say are making new breeds. And I can't see why this would bother you. If it does, simply ignore it. In my opinion, making new breeds is a sticky buisness. But there is no actual problem here.

No offence taken. But, it's hard to ignore when they keep popping up...When the breed is original it doesn't bother me AS much, but, when it's plain or copied it has absolutely no point. And when a post have no point it's spam, and spam is annoying.

Yes, I created two breeds. Big dup, right (>_>)? One breed is actually hybrid, and the other is the GWoS that were inspired by DDG, Ses, WSW, and a couple (few) other artists...

But, people are taking it to an extreme.

new breeds?

what's the problem with new breeds? I'd say that if you can use a breed no one else does, you are unique.


but it's really annoying when people use the same breed as you and it starts something like the All Your Base Are Belong to Us saga.

I only have about two new breeds but they aren't really new breeds because the character was created by scientist and tested on and all that stuff but yes so many new breeds is annoying especially when it's just a husky/German shepard mix or something like that and they claim it's a new breed they thought up of all by themselves.

It's just a childish fashion. Someone comes up with an original thing and then Kazillion number of other people are doing these. Just.. a childish fad as I said.
One of reasons I rarely check Fan Arts. This looks scary.

It's not the first case with ideea tracing xD, really.
