I like Balto Source the way it is. I'd like to be able to get the same background this site has as a wallpaper for my PC. Oh, and †SilentStalker†? Just a little tip: I suggest you be careful referring to Balto Source as BS. I can tell you from experience that there are people who will most likely twist that around. Trust me, I've run into a few. Not on this site, neccessarily, but you know how it is.

Hm, sounds like a decent idea to me, it just depends if Steet wants to spend time changing it (not that I know how long it'd take), a contest sounds good, just like LKS. Why not?

Well, there are some things to consider. First, I don't make designs by clapping in my hands, it takes much time. (and I even didn't make the design in itself! But it was difficult to integrate it...)
And, no contest, sorry, Balto Source is my precious site and I want to do the major changes on it myself.
Then, a second thing : I know that some people would say "I liked the previous one better", because well, the current design is already enough good (even if far from perfect, that's for sure), which was not really the case for TLK source.
Finally, with the new version of the forums, I'll have to make a new design for it too...
That doesn't mean I won't do it. But the time I will spend on this, is less time for making other things, hence the poll on the site...

I agree. I dont think a contest would be good for it. But, I do think it should match better with TLK Source. BaltoSource has more of a round shape, and now the TLK Source has more of a square shape. And I am sure some people will ALWAYS say that they like the old design better. But sense I have been here, it has been the same design. Nothing has changed it, except the banner on the site. I do think its time for change.
