One thing though, could you name some sites that would be able to host the files?
Edit : Ok nevermind, it's in your first message...
But which of them offer the possibility to embed the files? (just like what I did with the Youtube videos?) I think it would be more practical.

I feel so special for suggesting the video thing XD....Good idea Danman...I was recently trying to arrange the theme from Heritage of the Wolf and turn it into a march song but I failed miserably. o_O

Direct linking is a good solution too.
But, well, I can offer the choice for the host, as it's the case for the music videos. In this case, it would be up to the visitors.

Just a question though... when you upload the files, it would be like uploading fan videos? I haven't ever made one, so I don't know how you would upload a sound file... especially if it were made in a music program like Sibelius or Finale.

I think it would work as long as people posted RELEVANT songs... not rock, or whatever else, but the kinds you'd find in the films, like orchestral themes (I live for that!). And if anyone recorded themselves playing, I guess that would be fine too... aslong as it wasn't a video, or it would be like the "Put a pic of yourself here so that people can track you down" garbage.

Does allowing only orchestral music would be a good idea? I mean, what's more related to the films than orchestral music?
I would like to put a clear limit, because I fear we are going to see anything and nothing.

No no, I won't host them, just precise that the visitors can upload them anywhere they want, including their own server if they want, as long as they send valid links.

You would need to export the files to MP3, and then go to a hosting site and upload it.
