Wolfgurly- thats the thing it was just a farm cat.... I only took her to the vet once.... foever ago.

Emily- I have a guard dog.... the thing is the dog knows this person.... so he doesn't attack her....
And I have to many horses to lock them all up.... but I do put all the animals in the house now.... well except the horses.
And I have already put locks on all the stalls and pastures.

Starsky- I might have to call the cops... But that is a last resort.

Hey ya'll

Not sure if you are in UK or US but I would suggest getting your horses microchipped.

Also, if you ever get your cat back, then get it microchipped too.

Someone tried to steal one of our dogs once - he was a valuable stud dog and they got more than they bargained for when 90 lbs of angry bull terrier sank his teeth in them.

But seriously consider microchipping. All our animals are.

Dx

I would recommend calling the police, even though it's a cat they still stole it and as long as you have all the paperwork showing that the cat belongs to you there should'nt be any problem with getting Charlie back and you should definately do what Diesel said and microchip your animals if you have'nt already, very useful in this kind of situation or if one ever goes missing.

Yeah, if I get her back, I'll have to get her chipped.

I already have the horses covered
Thanks everyone.

Just tell her to give your cat back. Have you asked her? And if so, why doesn't she give him back, what does she say?
I don't know if calling 911 is an option, since they work with human cases... I guess all you can do is tell her that you WILL call the police if she doesn't hand him over. he is your family member after all, and I don't see why you shouldn't get your cat back at all.
