Yeah, BUT here, where Pit Bulls are banned, German Shepherds aren't. and that's NOT fair at all.
40 years ago, Dobermans were banned here. 30 years ago, Rottweilers were banned here.. 20 years ago, Pit Bulls were (and still are) banned here.
They just can't keep the story straight, they shouldn't ban the dogs but the fighting pits that people put the dogs through.

Ah right, I understand you now. xD I thought you just didn't like Shepherds for a moment, because that would be sort of hypocritical. Never mind.
No dog breed should be illegal. Breeders should just take more care into choosing suitable owners for the puppies. I mean, if I bred Pit Bull pups, I'd hardly have the stupidy to sell one to a group of eighteen year old drug-dealers which are obviously going to fight it. Pit Bulls are banned here. You have to have a 'Dangerous dog' license and keep your dog muzzled and on a lead at all times.
