But Bruno we still can show a spike in the temp from the industrial revolution to now. But the misconception is that things are way worse now then the late 1800's which is wrong because now we know what is going on and that we have decreased CO2 emissions by little bits of a time.

But when countries like China start to get more industrialized and Coal burning plants produce cheep power it's more tempting them pouring money into new ways of getting power without hurting our world.

We spend into the Billions a year giving money to schools to research about global warming and how to stop it or at least slow it down.

It is easy to show that they earth goes through hot and Cold times. Like the "Little Ice Age" in Europe in the 1600's (I think you said something about it before)

But your right it's not all people's fault and we need to go back to the times where we didn't use electricity. While we can do that it's not a fun way of life and most people would think it's crazy when we can just tweak the things we have now to run better and more efficient.

I'm going to stay far away from any discussion of the Bush administration, and my feelings about it. My politics have no part of this site. I'm also going to stay far away from Al Gore, his movie, global warming, and other controversial issues. I suggest we all do the same, since this topic seems to do nothing but foment arguments. Neither side will ever convince the other, so the point of this is moot anyway.

Anyway We think we can "SAVE" this world when really, it's on a set course to be incinerated. Being that we orbit around a Medium star that is about halfway gone we have another 2 Billion years before it expands out to Mars, where the Terrestrial planets will be gone and the Gas Giants will be nothing but cores and Pluto will basically melt.

But there is small things you can do to keep the Earth as nice as it is now. Turn off the lights when your not using them, and unplug appliances as they use power is a standby mode. It will save you some money.

Also the ways homes are built, use rot proof wood to save trees in the long term.

Do research about a new car, just because they say a Prius gets 60mpg doesn't mean it's true, it's more like 40. But get a car with low CO2 emissions and Diesel's are looking better and better,

Well, the only things i know about this came from a History Channel special about global warming. I've been wanting to see that movie 'An Inconveniant Truth' but my parents won't rent it just because Al Gore is the speaker.

Ok.I will say it straight out. I do belive that global warming is happening,but all these ridiculous ideas? I think its wrong for our leaders to put the blame on us!
They aren't you say? Wrong. Theres this commercial I see on tv alot that has this guy standing on a train track when the train is coming and he says "In 30 years global warming may cause the inevitable.Hurricanes,tornadoes,earthquakes,and fires. 30 years from now? That won't affect me." he steps off the track and a little 5 year old girl is standing right in front of the train. This commercial makes me enraged. Why in the fricken world make a mess and let your children clean up for it?!! So we can have miserable lives for our generation after to live in?? I get so mad...... its not our fault. I don't believe this hasn't happened before though. If scientists are right (never know....) than the world is supposed to seperate every 1000 years or something rather. So I mean california breaking off sounds likely but not scary. I just don't know what to believe about our earth anymore.

I can aready see newjersey is getting warmer from global warming.. I have no clue what happened to all of the snow I used to get up here but we didnt get it this year. *global warming sucks*

Global warming rules! I can't wait to spend a bunch more time at the beach, soaking up the rays. Plus, I've got beachfront condo space already reserved for the Gulf of Wyoming that there's sure to be when the oceans start to rise. Man, I can't wait!

I think its just one BIG joke.

Because of all the ice melted in the arctic, scientist are now finding polar bears that have drowned. They have to swim for extremely long distances and without any ice for them to rest on, they get to tired and drown. Because global warming is causing such a drastic climate change many species of animals are beginning to die out.
