The swearing rule isn't obeyed too much...

I must confess that yes, I never saw that rule, so I do swear occassionally in my posts, but notice one thing.

the words are censored.

here, see: ****** (don't ban me. It's an example)

I think the reason most disregard this rule is because they think the censoring device is good enough.

Hehe, I should know all the censored swear words. Mainly, I don't think your allowed to say sh*t, f*ck, b*tch (unless you refer to a female dog), @$$, etc etc, other forms of those words. (excuse my horrible language -_-) Blocking it out in ***** won't help understand what you mean, people!

I see almost nothing wrong with bad words. I swear all the time, truth be told XD And besides, whenever I very seldomely do use bad words on this site, for violent roleplaying & stoof, I star a couple of words out. Such as d**n & s**t. They're just words xD

And alot of people here aren't kids. In fact, I think the majority are teenagers. And alot of teenagers swear. It's a fact of life. I wouldn't let anyone under the age of ten on this site.

I'm not sayin' anything against the rule!!! I'm just agreein' w/ Sloth here

About 75% of the people on this site are over 13 not including the one's over 18. Now if any of you have watched a PG13 movie you will note that there is swearing and even the F bomb is allowed, one time.

I'm not suggesting that everyone should be allowed to cuss like a sailor, I'm just talking about the parallels of the site and a PG13 movie.

The problem is not so much deciding if this or this word is a swear and should be forbidden. The problem is that if you really feel offensed by someone's post, then it is simple : report that post. See the little "!" icon to the right of each post? Use it to report posts to moderators, then they will decide what to do.

LMAO!!! Yeah, I just noticed that too. I was all, "Hmm. ^^ Yeah....... O_o .....HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!!!" XDDD

Anywho, I'm glad you all are seeing it that way. Sure, it happens, and sure there should be consequences for it if it happens HERE, but I'm just saying -- why make such a big fuss over it?

It also all depends on how you look at it. You know, Suka itself is a curse word. But I don't see it that way. It means "fast", and that's what I'm sticking to. ^^
