Bridget Fonda. She had that sort of warmth in her voice that made you feel safe.

Bridget Fonda, she's the Original of Jenna, she sounded more peacefull and calm...Tough the other one wasn't that bad, actually she sounded more "agitated" XD.But original is always better

I voted Jodi Benson. Her voice was much more smooth and expressed great emotion, whether she was joking around or worrying about something
Not to mention she sang beautifully. And the song kinda influenced the whole movie
I love Bridget's voice. But either her or the animators weren't good at Jenna's lip-syncing. And I just...prefer Jodi's to Bridget's
That's my opinion. And there's nothin' or nobody that's gonna change it

Bridget Fonda. She had a very light, young voice whereas Jodi Benson had an old and deep voice. It sounded too deep and coarse for Jenna.

Jodi's voice isn't at all deep. It's much softer then Bridget's
And anyway, she's grown up. You can't expect for her to still sound like a Teenager xD ^^

Bridget Fonda. Jodi's sounded good for Jenna as a grown up, and did good to that - But I stay true to the first movie. Jenna is still in her "teen dog" age, and not a mother in my eyes. ^__^
But yeah, Bridget's is more softer - Not as loud and it fits her more. Only in the first movie - It fits her and Bridget did a wonderful job.

Bridget was by far better, I don't think Jodi was a good voice for Jenna, but I think she might have been better for Aleu, as whoever did Aleu's voice was a bit too high-pitched for a wolf being the rebellious teenager she is, and I think Jodi would be more fitting for Aleu, but then again, Aleu didn't sing, I don't think... and I guess that's why they got Jodi, so Jenna would have a better singing voice, as I doubt Bridget Fonda can sing, but I don't think any of the movies really needed any singing. I mean, Balto 1 went by fine without any singing from any of the characters, didn't it?

Heh. I thought Jenna's singing in the 3rd film made the film waaaaay better. I mean, c'mon, it's wonderful to see everyone's favourite canine heroine sing! Her voice is amazing, and the songs was so beautiful. The third one didn't need any of its songs, except for that one

I did like Bridget Fonda better than Jodi Benson. Her voice has more of a range, more dynamic.
I tend to be tossed up on the others (who have been done by more than one actor/actress)...
With Balto, I will always think that Maurice LaMarche did a much better job than Kevin Bacon. La Marche's voice has more range...more dynamic (of course, La Marche has done TONS of voice-over work in cartoons). To me, while Kevin Bacon is a good actor, his voice-over work makes him sound like the voice-over equivalent of Kevin Costner (no real expression or emotion to his voice). I think that La Marche's delivery generally adds more kindness, wisdom and empathy to Balto's voice.
With Boris, I believe that Bob Hoskins sounds more natural, more relaxed doing a Russian accent than Charles Fleisher (which is weird, because Charles Fleischer, like Maurice La Marche, is a VETERAN voice-over talent).
