Kevin Bacon by far!!! I wonder why they replaced him with another actor.

He was going to do Balto in Balto 2 but had to do another film at the time!

Honestly, unless you show me the article stating it, I think it was more for a budget reason...(I think they probably couldn't afford Kevin Bacon)

Well, at the same time they still were able to get David Carradine and Mark Hamill to voice Nava and Niju...

I think alot of the money went into getting some of the people that did the voices. Personally if i was given the chance to play a voice in a balto movie id willingly do it free.

I didn't really get it of an article, is says on a website called Aleu's Aroura.

Well in that case it's more of a rumor than something else, unless they tell their source.

Balto's voice in WolfQuest and Wings of Change is pretty good, but I chose Kevin Bacon.

I'm biast. Kevin did a excellent job in the first movie but I think Maurice did a good job in the third. I mean, Kevin as a young Balto and Maurice as an older Balto, if you catch my drift.

I'd say something about Maurice in Wolf Quest but I try and pretend the movie doesn't exsist.

Kevin Bacon all the way! I think he gave Balto much much more life then Maurice Lamarche. I dont know why Universal didnt pay to get the original voice!
But maybe they thought: "OK.. The sequel is a direct -> DVD release. It aint gonna be popular as no.1"

However:
Maurice, sounds abit better in the 3rd movie. More "life" in the voice.
But still not the best performance. Nothing can replace Mr Bacon!

Im a big fan of that dude!! :D

I'd have to vote Kevin Bacon because he just made Balto sound really, REALLY sweet! XD And because Mixer's got a point; Mr. Bacon did do the best job of bringing the character to life, whereas the actor for 2 & 3 did OK...I guess.

I chose Kevin! I mean, who else? The other actor did ok, but his voice was a little rough for Balto's personality, and he did try to mock Balto's first voice. Personally, Kevin Bacon is my favorite actor! :D
