Exactly. If this topic should be about anything, it should really be about how people WHINE about how they don't get enough comments, and just want to be popular on the site. :roll:

People who are whining always have a reason to do it. And getting angry at them won't solve anything. You could have said the same thing in a more calm way, and it would be automatically better received. Do you ever listen and agree with people who yell at you? I don't, no one does.

If you want to help the other visitors, you have to understand how they feel. In this case, he needed advices (such as the ones some other members have given)

If they make a point, yes. I could've said what I said a bit nicer, I admit that, but nobody likes a whiner. And this still shouldn't be here. Ranting is about problems everyone can relate to. Now if this topic were to end with "Does anyone else hate this?" showing a little bit of thought for OTHERS, then it'd be fine. But it doesn't. It only concerns oneself and that's whining. Pretty soon people will feel free to "Rant" about how they can't draw and complain about how art programs aren't making them better. Its the same basic concept.

It's just human nature at work here. People want to be noticed, and given attention. Some people just want it more than others. This rant could have been a bit more descriptive, but it's not a sin or anything to want some compliments on a work, whether it be art or fanfiction.

Indeed. It just how humans work. And I am sure SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, COULD find that to be a sin. :lol:

People are just... attention loving creatures. Well, most of them. If they aren't at the top, they aren't happy. I don't see why people can't be happy with a place they are, and just work harder to actually earn the top rank. But then again... that would make people, so un people like, eh?..
