She's quite a nice dog!! And I don't think she looks that overweight, however there is a way to tell:
You need to press just slightly where her rib cage is: If you can feel her ribs, she's in perfect shape! If not, it depends on how press you have to push to feel them. If you can't at all, and have to press relateviely hard, then she's overweight.

Wolfgirly -> Thanks
and Kodiwolf -> I think I mentioned in the first post that I can feel her ribs but not just by touching her, if I press there lightly then I can though, so I guess that's a good sign.

Aw thanks, she's pretty much the only pet who needs to be walked so whenever I have spare time I take her places, well when I'm not on the computer that is. XD
Ya, XD I know what ya mean. I play with my cat most of the time and when Im on the comp he's sleeping next to me I guess it doesn't mean u have to be different specials to be similar.

Another way to feel if she's overweight is to run your fingers down her ribs, you should be able to feel her ribs feel, if you like, "meat" between them. If you can feel between her rib bones then she's underweight.

Yeah I can feel them but not that much, and I can't see them so I guess that's a good thing.

To me she seems healthy. Only a vet could know for sure though. We brought my dog to the vet and it turned out that she was 6 pounds over weight. We were stunned!

Yeah, I think a vet's opinion would be best, but the vet closest to us would charge about $60 ON THE SPOT just to tell us the same thing that you guys are telling me now.
BTW, what breed was your dog and how much did she weigh?
