I actually have been thinking this too... even though I'm one of the ones doing that! I've been drawing my own character and requests/trades mostly, but I have a few in-progress Balto pics I'm doing.

I think it should be a rule... go with it!

But hwat I think would be better is if: FOr each month, an artist has to do a Balto-character pic. But if they don't update their gallery that month, then they can skip it. Like this:

October: No updates, you don't have to do a Balto pic.
Nov.: An update: Must do a Balto pic before the endo f that month, or 2 the enxt month.

Though I do think every month can be overwhelming... so maybe every 3 months they have to do a Balto-char picture?

That's what I think. Only having to do one image, or a handfull, we could still get weird pics in here... someone could scribble, say it's a Balto char, and then send nicer stuff of their own.

Yes there definately should be at least one Balto character per gallerie. I put one up of Aleu on the forum's and another of her in my gallerie. I would have more but, I don't have much scanning time on my hands.

But, saldy there is a bad side to everything and this idea is no exception. If people come here and have agallerie that has no Balto related art maybe they will not want to stay because they don't enjoy drawing Balto. What I mean is that some artists might leave because of this. But, then again, more great artists who enjoy drawing Balto will come. So, in conclusion I voted yes.

It's not like the Balto pic(s) have to be perfect. And it won't kill anyone to draw atleast ONE picture. Serisouly, that's ridiculous. If people don't want to draw balto then they can go to another site.

I know, I was just trying to broaden my view. So I could understand other people's opinions.

The rule is on the site. Now, the mods should apply it, and they will have to go through each gallery to indicate which of your pictures are Balto drawings. (or Lion king on Lion king source, same rule)
And, the fanart display has been changed, so that the Balto drawings will appear at the top. And I'll even add an option to filter and display only the Balto drawings.

Now I can see why you want only balto drawings and I respect that, but I think we shuold be able to draw and send anything.Just hear me out, what if when we selected a gallery it would give us a choice,like theres a link, BALTO ART, and then another link, OTHER ART.

I think you misunderstand this, no one's asking you to send ONLY Balto art, just at least one piece of art that's Balto related. You can still send other art, but it's reccomended that you do some Balto art.
As for this:

Steet is already setting this up (as I have heard). On each gallery, the Balto art will be first (or something like that)...so, in essence....you can look through Balto art and Other art.

Be sure to read before answering...Because it's already the case.
And no, it's not awesome.

This is for balto fan art! Not a fan everything site.
Come on! its not that hard to follow that rule.
