Barbaro is my band director's name. He's still alive. Sometimes I'll wish it's the other way around We will miss that horse

This is something that my moms friend gave to me when my own pet passed away 5 years ago. I thought it would be good for Barbaro. It's not written by my moms friend.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven lies the Rainbow Bridge

When a beloved pet dies, it goes to the Rainbow Bridge. It makes friends with other animals and frolics about over rolling hills and peaceful lush meadows of green.

Our pets do not thirst or hunger. The old and sick are made young once more; the maimed and the ill become healed and strong. They are as healthy and playful as we remember them in days gone by.

Though happy and content, they still miss someone very special someone they had to leave behind.

Together, the animals chase and play, but the day comes when a pet will suddenly stop and look into the distance...bright eyes intent, egar bbody quivering. Suddenly recongnizing you, your pet bounds quickly across the green fields and into your embrace. You celebrate in joyus reunion. You will never again separate.Happy tears and kisses are warm and plenty; your hands caress the face you missed. You look once more into the loving eyes of your pet and know that you never really parted. You realize that though out of sight, your love had been remembered.

And now, you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

I'm crying now after I wrote this on here. I hope you guys like it but it's also for everyones pet or animal that you have lost.

I've heard the Rainbow Bridge one before...very nice, I hadn't thought of it.

No, Slash, I didn't write the prayer, although I did append it slightly to make it more appropriate to the situation.

Here is a vid that I made for him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6u04Q3rWf-A

I heard about that... Now.. Don't call me evil or anything, but I'm not that sad per say. He was suffering and had had a long fight. If anything, I'm glad for him in a way. It's not like he's going to be forgoten or anything.. And I think I'll shut up before someone flames me. XD

Yeah, it is sad. My band director has articles all over cabinet doors in our band room.

Yes I heard. It's a real shame but, at least he isn't suffering any more.

They said he went down hill fast. His trainers knew he'd probably die, but they did that surgery on him anway. I guess they would get their money back if he lived. (Stud fees) I'm glad he isn't still in pain.
