Banning for rediculous periods of time!

maybe tibb, but that says nothing about mods being stupid. The people that called the mods STUPID i think are on the "mods don't know how to be mods" topic, but in my opinion anyone who thinks mods are stupid is stupid, because if they were the mods, we all know they wouldn't say that.

I don't think that all mods should be allowed the ban right though, because, as I said before, there are some irrisponsible people out there. For example, before I was banned, i was given a warning by one mod, then I was banned by a different mod for the same offense, for the 3 months. on top of that, the other person that was innvolved with what i was banned for didn't get banned at all.

i'm not saying that people who do stuff shouldn't do time, but it's the was that some mods handle the issues that i just can't tolerate.

I just got the news I'm permanelty band. I had a month for saying a rude name about someone. Now they decided a permadent band was best. I think its the most sutipid thing on earth they have ever done to me. They will only allow me here.

Balto claw, if you're going to keep bashing the mods and complaining, then we won't hesitate to ban you from the forums as well.

Shimmer, I never did have respect for her. And I don't have respect for people who don't understand that if you break the rules, you're going to be punished for it. Rozalyn, I understand that you were upset about being banned so long, but that is no reason to say "all mods are stupid, they don't know what they're doing, they shouldn't be allowed to ban." Where would we be if no one was banned? No offense to Steet, but he is not online much, which is the reason why he hired moderators to fill in for him when he is not there. If he took that power away from the mods, this place would be a living hell. There would be no order. No one would be afraid to break the rules or stand up to the mods when they try to enforce them. Just because you were banned doesn't mean that mods are bad people who run around banning everyone in sight. You were banned for a reason. You're not Mrs. Goody-Goody-Two-Shoes.

Hey um. I was thinking about what I have done. I also read One of Suka's posts. A peredent band is not allways forever. Its when mods arn't shure when you will fix your additude. Untill they think you are truly ready to go back, they will unband you.
I feel really bad no one has respect for me, but people who are rude don't deserve it. And thats what I have done.
I'm also sorry for my behaviour yesterday. But the only reason I got mad was cause, I was doing fine and controling my additude and haveing a conversation with drew here and there about respect. Just till yesterday I got the news. I was so upset thinking" I was half way throu my band time and I was controling my behaviour. All that work effort whent down the drain. I was going to send fan art and read questions. I really never caused problems there. But now...
I was willing so willing. Even If I could brows the site and the shoutbox was off limites to me, I would be just fine with that.
But i guse I'm happy with the fourms. Please don't band me from the fourms.
But, I'm sorry.

Also when a mod warns you, the other mods know, when we ban people it is usually a mutual decison by all the mods. So that the person has a fair chance, their offense is over looked by the entire mod box and decided if the ban time is appropriate and if the offense is appropriate for the amount of ban time given.

ok drew, so tell me, WHEN is it ever ok for one person to get banned and not the other, in an arguement? personally, i still don't call it "justice" if one person gets banned, and the other gets of with nothing. aside from that, how can one mod go ahead and ban me, if there was a descision to warn me? that makes no sense at all.

You stated you were warned, you get 1 warning and you got yours. I have no idea who exactly ban you as this was some time ago. But you did recieve your warning.

yes i got a warning, but i was warned and banned for the same issue, it was not a repeat offense.

Oh my god, you people who will not give the mods some slack, you people think they are so bad at their job, they have to not have to cope with life, but have to make sure that people like you, do not mess up this forum, and guess what, if you break the rules, you get in trouble, end of story.
