Not a wolf, but I have seen a pair of coyotes.
I have a large protected forest in my back yard and if you cross into my neighbor's yard and take a few steps into the woods you will come to the edge of a cliff that is about 3 meters high. When I was about 8 I went into the woods because I was cleaning up some trash and I heard some leaves crackling. I went to the edge of that cliff and when I looked down I saw two coyotes walking away, one just stopped, looked at me, sniffed the air then kept going further into the forest.
I've been keeping an eye out for them or any others ever since then. I love canines.

As I believe I mentioned, Wolf Park is a park in Indiana that houses wolves as well as other types of wild canines. You ought to check it out, if you live nearby. Here's their website, it's worth a look. You can "meet" the wolves and even "adopt" one if you so choose.

Yes, i've been up-close and personal with a wolf before. Wasn't scary or viscious at all.

Last summer, I was visiting my uncle in Montana, and I walked up to one of his sliding glass doors, and there were two wolves on his deck. It was so awesome! Then, the male saw me, and he came up to the door. I was face to face with a wild wolf! I can't explain the feeling that I had, but it was so cool! My uncle says that he sees wolves all the time on his property. Needless to say, I can't wait to go back up there this summer.

Aljan: Dude....that's awesome. I wish I could have an experience like that. Sounds a bit like my experience with the fox, which you may have read earlier in this threat. Still, stone wicked experience man.
