Personally, I myself I do not see the point of having more then one of those things when you grow up all their going to do is sit and rot and you'll end up giving them away. I own one that I bought in stores when I was younger and the film first came out and I paid 15 dollars for it and I wouldn't pay a dime more now.

Bahh.. I'll love them forever. I sleep with one of mine.
I just hate it when 80 yr old grandma collecters bid on it and let it rot. They're made for people like me Y'know?

I let mine rott.... But I am not 80 years old. How much do you own?
-----
I spent $60 on mine. I collect stuffed animals, and stuff like that. =] And they just sit, looking pretty in my room. I don't try to touch them as much, because I want them to be all clean and nice looking. Not all messy, and stuff. xP

It wouldn't rot away in my room that's for sure! I will never be too old for stuffed animals

Wow, those look nice! If only I had enough money to bid on them . . .
I've seen the plushies (mainly Balto, Jenna and a Muk . . . *sigh* Luk has no love), (never a press kit) a promo T-shirt (with the original poster image on front . . . I think Ac has one, right?), loads of reprint posters (US version and a Japanese one too), original CDs of the soundtrack, books (like the Junior novel and the couple of official picture books from the film), and the rare occasional KFC/Hardee's toys from when the film was released. And of course the VHS and DVD copies of the film . . . and its two sequels.
Actually, I've seen one thing on eBay that no one has mentioned yet:
Actual Balto character sheets! (first movie only, of course . . . they're xeroxed though. Bah. Still cool though!)
I was going to buy them, but I was hoping the seller would lower the price a little . . . I'm still trying to contact the person to see if they still have them, because that would be awesome. I've never seen anything like those before! (no pictures, unfortunately . . . wah.)

I have very few Balto collectors items. Mainly the only thing I am interested in is more reference sheets.
A friend of mine was kind enough to scan and share all his reference sheets with me.I have an original double sided movie poster and a Balto and Jenna plush from when the movie first came out.

I wait until the final day and then try and bid.. other wise the price just gets higher and higher. I love the merchandise, I don't think I'd ever be able to part with my stuff.. although when I do get really old and want to be sure it goes somewhere safe I would probably make sure the profit made from selling it went to a charity. Preferably an Animal Rescue.
However, due to the ridiclous prices of Balto stuff right now, my collection has been put on hold. Why would anyone even THINK of spending that much on a Press Kit, TinCanny?!
I think that those Balto Model Sheets are the reproductions.. I paid about the same amount for mine..

60 bucks for a stuffed animal? Jeeze, not for me. But then again, if you collect something, you have to be willing to pay what the market commands. Myself, I would be much more interested in the production stills, storyboards, stuff like that.

Yeah I know but there's still 3 days. I've seen stuff go up to at least $100 within a day.
