Yeah, I have seen another picture of this breed which has Archie's ears. I'm not sure. Maybe he's just a mixture of breeds. One of his parents might have been a mixed breed.

Okay.. I think the search is finally over.
But I need opinions still.
I got this months Your Dog magazine and in the rehoming section, I found a dog that looked quite similar to Chi but the picture wasn't very big. I went onto the shelter's website and found Tina. A Collie/Husky cross. I thought as much.. besides the ears, what do you think?

^^ Scroll to Tina.

Looks pretty close, except Archie's fur is a bit longer. I'd say you might have found a match

Yeah, he really needs to go to the groomers. He's looking a bit scruffy right now.
I was talking to the woman who told me that Archie could be crossed with a golden retriever the other day and she told me that it was 'ironic' that I love huskies so much and I suddenly 'think' that Archie is part husky. She was actually quite rude so I don't think much of her now. It does sound ironic, but even I must admit that Archie does look like an older version of Tina.

That is rude. Why does she care anyway? It's not her dog, even if he DIDN'T look almost identical to that dog, if you want to think he's part husky then she should let you. I dislike people who act like that. And yeah, but it's probably because the picture of Tina is outside so it's brighter and her color's come out more, I'm sure if you could get a picture of Archie in the exact pose that Tina is in, they would look identical. (Except for the fur)

Yeah, he's older than Tina too though. She's three and I imagine him to be a lot older. I don't like that woman much anyway..

Yes, that's true. But I'm pretty sure that one of his parents must have been a Border Collie.

Yeah, they didn't know much about his breeding either. They just said he was a Border Collie X.

Yeah, they didn't know much about his breeding either. They just said he was a Border Collie X. ohh, but for all they know, he could be a purebred. they just say X because they don't know for sure.. if you didn't say he was a cross, i'd say he looks like a purebred.
Yeah, he looks a lot like Rex from the movie Babe.
My dad said that he's a purebred then Barney's a Jack Russell. (He's a purebred English Springer Spaniel with pedigree papers. ) Archie's just not as intelligent as a Border Collie. He could be like the runt of the litter or something...
