Wow, that's great news for sure! To tell the truth, I'm surprised...
500$, well that's a more acceptable price if it's for all the Balto characters.

I have another news update...
This morning I got an e-mail from the Vice President/Publishing at Universal (who had noticed my search for Balto on their site) and she wants to speak with me about my work.
I might have universal's backing on this one!
That would be pretty cool, and would help a lot!
Memories is still coming, so far Jenna has met Dixie and Sylvie, who got her together with Steele, met Drake (whom she likes) and is just about to meet Balto for the first time.
I'm thinking it should take me no more than a week, two at the most to finish this up, and then I'm going to start on Balto: When Love Isn't Enough... I like the sound of this one.
After that, Aleu is going to have to take back her pack (eventually)
That's going to be a fun one to write as well.
Here's a brief description...
Okay, so Talkeet's second in command Gareth took control of the Uniea once Talkeet switched sides, and subsequently was killed. Gareth also took on Talkeet's affiliation with Shade.
If you remember Darkness, Shade can't leave hell now right?
So how is he going to break free?

How about bringing hell to earth?
When Aleu goes back, the cave will be on fire!
Her friend's (the one's she was forced to leave behind) suffering, and an almost all powerful evil is control of the cave.
It will take all of Aniu's help in this one for Aleu to come out alive, much less anyone else.
This may be a battle Aleu has to fight on her own.
This story may take the place of Outbreak, (the zombie story) with Shade's soldiers being the zombies. Jenna will still get caught up in it of course, and how can Balto save her now.... is there an antidote for possession?
So you're thinking "what's at stake here?" (besides everyone concerned's lives of course)
How's this...
If Aleu doesn't stop Shade, he will spread his evil slowly but surely over the entire face of the planet!
Sounds good huh?
Anyway, I think it will be, and then after that, who knows?
I need some suggestions for a title for the afore mentioned one though, haven't been able to come up with anything as of yet.

Can't wait for the new stories!!!!!
As for the title, how about--
"The Final Confrontation"--
or "The Last Light" and make Aleu or whoever the 'last light'
(could also be "The Last Hope")

Ok, thanks a lot!
I've discovered a lot of Universal sites, but not this one. Although I can't access it (registration needed, and they say "Business and legal reasons prevent us from entering into film clip or still agreements with individuals." so I guess you had the permission from her.)
Anyway that's terribly great news, I hope everything will go fine and that you'll be able to release your book. (that would make it the first "merchandise" since the release of the film!)
