XD, well you could always do the Disney carton caricature style. What it does is it exaggerates parts of a wolf that usually scream wolf in our heads, or simplifies it so it gives the impression of a wolf (without uneeded details that dont make it hard for people to animate it). Doesn't hurt to try different styles.

And it is ok for an anthropomorphic character to give it let's say waists, eyebrows, necks, etc. =O It may sound tiresome, but this is still all about the style that you want.

But you did say more realistic XD, so I am thinking people will give you more realistic. Though for a cartoon or drawn style, I would never try to be hyper-realistic. Then you lose the elements of a cartoon.

Edit: For the part of the wolf's neck, XP, I may be just confused but I do believe that the neck is not 2 tubes. But the neck (the first tube)is covered by what we call a *saddle* which is a big sheet of fur from the head to halfway the body. It helps rain to slide off a wolf's back. (it's also probably referred to the mane part of the wolf)

Right, that is the "main" tube but there is a significant smaller one on the wolf's shoulder. But basically yeah it'd be just one if the wolf had no shoulder XD

Okay thank you everyone! I'll try and make this clear-er. I guess I didn't want my style ALL that realistic.
