True about the lack of fanfics mods, I didn't see this topic but I've received enough messages of people waiting for their fanfics to be updated. So I've took some measures to get the work done, for now.


This is a big problem there. But do everyone miss the "Report" link at the bottom of the fanart pages? This is the solution : when you're not a mod and notice something that shouldn't have been accepted, for any reason, use this link to report it to a mod. Then this mod will check and decide what's the best thing to do.
There is the same thing for the fanfics. Maybe I'll need to make the text bigger, because no one seems to see these "Report" links...


I'm not sure if the mod who is in charge of this is still doing it, but it seems it's not. So I guess I'll either change that system or find another person. For now, try asking the fanart mods in the Staff page...

I use that quite alot. And I have sent at least 10 PMs to mods about fan images, or even fan art or such. Maybe you DO need to make it bigger, but I happily use it when comming across things. But still, it seems as if mods are just posting things, and not paying attention to what they are posting.

Thank god! I've requested to get my gallerie entrance changed last month! Finaly, it's going to be solved!

I agree. We do need a few more Fanfic mods that will actulay DO their job. I also think it's kinda... not good.. that who ever is in charge of the FanImages are just letting pretty much everything in. I've seen so many things that shouldn't have been accepted, but it was never removed.

Well I sure didn't, I did that and guess what? the mod didn't do anything about them (even when I put the rules page on the pm).
When you press the "report drawing" button it automatically states that it's stolen, so she used the execuse that I said it was stolen to not remove the pic from her friend's page. I clearly said in all the Pms it was not stolen. I put the pic and the rules right on her face (so to speak) and she still ignored it. This is some kind of corruption. Thank god I never deleted the pms.

Yes ive seen that problem to! Well ill just wait untill we need more fan art mods and see if i can be good enough for the job.

Yeah. I sent a lot of PMs with the link and all, but they must have never got it. So when that happend I'd put the link in the mod box when fanart mods where there, but they didn't see it or something.

That is true, but I think that the members are at fault here, too.

If they read the rules and only sent in pics/fanfics that are allowed, then there wouldn't be so many mistakes like this.

There are probably 100+ pictures/fan fics sent each day, with less then half of them being "appropriate." I wouldn't want to look through every single picture for 5 minutes each. I haven't seen a mod allow a sexual image yet, though. Thank God...

The way I am acting, is that we need people to do the job. I am not saying I want it, but if it was offered I would do it, and do it right, Deni. I don't care WHO would be a new fan fic mod, as long as they do it right. This isn't about me. Its just something I saw, and saw fit to put here.

I would be insterested in seeing these drawings myself. If you could send them to me by PM, I'll be sure to give my opinion and do the right thing according to the rules.

Ack! I'm glad I found my way in here. I'm so sorry to everyone who has been trying to get their fan art entrance picture changed. My e-mail has been messing up on me lately and I've been busy too. Anyone who sent a request for their enter pic to be changed before the 1st of Jan. has been lost. I'll get the ones I have (which is 5) changed right now. I'm so sorry if this unconvinced anyone.
