What's wrong with 'Americanish'??? I love the American accent, even though I'm Scottish XP

I don't mind Leona. She's okay. She's absoloutely incredible at singing - it's her voice I don't like. Sometimes her vocals just sound terrible, and she sings too deep at points

What I love about Kelly's voice is that she can hit some amazing notes that are really difficult to mimic, and she always songs them perfectly, without any flaws. YAY KELLY!!! ^_^ ^_^

No offence American accents really irritate me, I never liked them but after watching 'Hannah Montana' it was the final straw.

Anyway, back to topic.

Just you wait peoples, she's going to change the world of music with a voice like hers. Much better than Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston I think.

Leona has a decent voice. Okay, way more than decent. But Kelly's songs acutally have something more than words. Soul. Does Leona have them??? I really don't think so. Dude, I know you hate American accents. But you've gotta admit, Kelly and Leona are equal.

I'm ready to defend Kelly Clarkson to the death. I truly mean that.

Kelly's songs have more than, than, I can't describe it. Leona on a Moment Like This, she was, well, horrible. Even I can sing better than that! No offense.

I'm not American, not fully anyway. I'm half spainish and I like there music.

I'm not choosing Kelly because she won American Idol, I'm choosing her beacause her voice in my opinion is way better than Leona's. My heart and soul descion is to Kelly.

I am a devoted Kelly Clarkson fan. She is an incredible singer - and no matter what you say, you can't change that. Leona's nice - but she can never, ever beat Kelly Clarkson!

And what is so wrong with the American accent??? If you don't like it; when I suppose you don't like Balto. Almost everyone in that has an American accent

Whoops. I do that sometimes. She's been the first person out of Britain with a voice as incredible as her's for 20 years. Over here she's really big. Got Christmas No.1 in half a week of release. 500,000 copies of her singles sold in just 4 days. Clive Davis, the man who is behind Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys has offered her a 50 MILLION$$$ record contract. I didn't see anyone offer Kelly Clarkson that much from such a famous man.

Now I understand why you like her so much, I admit it, she has a great voice. But Kelly Clarkson is better in my opinion.

Please don't turn this into a chat I can't sing like Kelly Clarkson - she hits some pretty d*** amazing notes, that are sooo hard to mimic. I can't sing many songs, because I can never hit the high note, and always ending up going off-key XD

Anyway, Leona's got a nice voice, and she can sing brilliantly; but Kelly will always win in my eyes ^.^

Leona has a brillent voice no one can't say no when she sings, i know i used to like kelly clarkson, her voice was really good at that time but as Leona Appeared i won me over! ^-^

I don't like Kelly's version of 'A Moment Like This,' Leona sings with much more emotion and soul, Kelly hasn't got much emotion. Leona has the whole package, she's beautiful, young and has the voice that Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey should look out for. Whitney Houston has reportedly phoned Leona up and wants to be Leona's mentor. Face the facts, she's going to be a huge star, a zillion times more than Kelly ever was or will be.
