Actually...Niju was probably one of the feeblest foes in cartoon antagonist history. I mean, he didn't even kill or even severely injure anyone. Nava, MAYBE, but he recovered in like...less than two minutes LoL. But just the same, Niju's intentions were good. Bad guys dont have good intentions XD

Even though Niju was a bad guy, he wasn't really evil or mean for bad things to happen, if you know what I mean. All Niju wanted was for the clan to stay and not cross the water, but when they did, he took it out on Nava. He wasn't actually a bad wolf, maybe a little moody though

Of course they aren't. Aleuwolf15 likes to spam the heck out of the forums just like _angel_ and jenna_wolf/husky. And it does deserve a nice banning from the forum mods, if you ask me.

I agree. Niju wasn't evil - he just thought that Nava's plans of them leaving their homeland (a la Aniu, mind you) was a bunch of baloney and the fact that the rest of the pack believed it made him pissed. He was afraid of leaving the home that he had known since birth, and the only reason why he attacked Aleu (IMO) was because these "tainted hybrid-wolves" were invading his territory and leading his clan to their deaths with Aniu's prophecy and all.

Cat's right: Niju's intentions were good . . . for the good of his clan in his opinion. The whole change thing meant that they had no idea what awaited them across the water, so that's another reason why he could have been afraid . . . So he was a crappy villain. Not all powerful, but a typical young kid who wants what he thinks is best for his clan - him as alpha, the guy calling all of the shots without having anyone oppose him (why else would he practice his alpha skills on his cronies?).

But Niju wasn't violent. He was defensive. Heck, there would have been blood or obviously serious injuries if he truly were violent (but of course, rated G movie . . . blah-blah-blah). Although, he did want to get rid of Nava . . . mainly because of his "old ways" and all. Then when Aleu stepped in, his anger caused him to attack her. She was a threat, an obstacle in his way of killing off the one wolf that stood in his way.

Heck, I like Niju's character and motives. He only meant well for his clan by doing whatever it took to stay on their territory and survive - isn't that what any other wild animal would do? *sigh* He had a lot of potential of changing the plot a lot, but . . . I guess that's why us fanfic writers are here, right? (I have written a couple of stories about him already)

I think he was just scared. He did what instinct told him to do, nothing more. I didn't find him violent either, he just hated change.

I don't think so. Zira in TLK 2 is violent. But in Balto is (out of the men and the bears) nobody really violent. No blood or other things like this.

That's probably because it's a children's film. It can't have any blood or real violence shown in it.

But TLK has. ;)
OK, not much blood, but a little bit. And I think, the scenes in TLK 1 and 2 are violent, when characters died.

I quite like his character as well. And your right, animals (especially wolves) have their own territory and do anything to protect it. A real wolf would attack a character like Alue because she was a stranger in his territory and trying to ruin it for him. Simple as that.

Huh o.O In Balto 1, when Steele grabbed Balto's ankle and threw him at a rock, I saw drops of blood pour from his scruff

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aanyway, I don't think Niju should be called a 'villian', let alone 'violent'. He's just weak and pathetic, and a very poor excuse for a villian. No one could EVER beat Steele, Scar or Zira.

Yeah, and he fought back in a violent kind of way.
Anyone who tries to kill someone else is violent.
