I, seriously, see absoloutely nothing wrong with 3-D animation!!! Apart from WQ(bleah), 3-D animation is sparkly and beautiful, and makes the films look alot more modern and beautiful. Aprt from Balto and The Lion King, they're gorgeously animated with 2-D animation Love.gif

Think about the film Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure. That film has got the best animation in the histroy of the world, after The Lion King. The animation is very near almost perfect, but I've spotted one or two of the most unnoticeable bloopers, being as observant as I am :P

I don't see what your ranting about, to be honest. The only animated film which has disgusting 3-D animation is Wolf Quest

That's my opinion. Can't accept it??? That's your problem!

I don´t think you get what 3D is. 3D are film like cars and monster inc. Lady and the Tramp 2 and Wolf Quest are all 2D

Ahhhhhh, now I see. WQ does have 3-D animation though.

But I love 3-D animation! Soooo much effort is put into it, making everything look sooo close to real! Especially Shrek and Shrek 2! DreamWorks SGI and Disney Pixar put soooo much effort into these films; adding everything, to make them look as realistic as possible!!! From clothes, to water, to fur...UHHHH I LOVE 3-D animation! I prefer it to 2-D actually xD

I don't know why everyone hates 3-D animation. Alot more effort is put into it then 2-D. Artists and Animators do it all on the comp, which just shows how genius Mankind is becoming ^_^

UH....actually. It takes less effort to animate something through a computer than it is to animate something on paper. On a computer. Once you design a character, its simple. All you need to do is practically type in what you want it to do and it does it. Whereas animation, you have you draw EVERYTHING by hand. And it has to look RIGHT (although lots of animators spit on this rule and don't give a rat's tail, but they're twice as lazy when it comes to 3-D animation)

Wolf quest did not have 3D in it

There are some 3D elements in WQ and WoC, especially in the intros.
Polar Express wasn't that bad, even though too much directed to kids. I also liked the two Final fantasy films because they made a very good use of the 3D and had REAL scenarios.
I also liked the Shrek films, because they assume the fact that they are only for jokes. But I did hate all the Pixar, the other Dreamworks, the Fox ones and all the others in the same genre ever released. (and I DID watch most of them)

I agree! I mean,Walt Disney made his stories with his ideas.I doubt he ever planned on making Lady and the tramp 2 or the fox and the hound 2 or any of the "fine" disney sequels we have a generation later. I ESPECIALLY think that if he was alive still he would still make 2D art because drawing was his past time. He LOVED it. Its his sole purpose for creating Mickey. Not for the money....just a past time. Disney seems to brush his ideas away now as if they were nothing. I was thinking of becoming an animator for them but if all they have left is 3D studios....I will refuse......which is a shame since Ihave so looked forward to becoming a disney artist.

I like them both. I find some movies are better in 2D and some better in 3D. Could you imagine Dinosaur or Finding Nemo in 2D? It wouldn't have been anywhere near as good. And consequently, The lion king, Tarzan and the little mermaid wouldn't have been as good in 3D.

What bugs me are the lack of singing and songs in the newer Disney cartoons! (both 2D + 3D!)
